Good idea! 2 thoughts that might help...1-flip every other panel (like AA batteries in a holder) so the +/- connections need less wire. 2-mount on some aluminum instead of wood. This would be lighter and help keep the panels cooler for better efficiency, also some of the captured heat could help in cooler months.
