That's so funny. I call my Pekingese my little lion too. Bathing mine is like bathing a cat. I might as well put on a suit and jump in too since we both end up soaked.

We had to do the exact same thing with our pekingese when we went to the beach! We held her down and rinsed the salt water off of her...

I was extremely surprised that my pekingese was actually a water dog!! :)

You should've just rinsed with water, the soap may have irritated the skin since you washed him for a whole week. Anyways, such a good breed and absolutely adorable!

lol. poor dog. My peke hates the bath and does the same thing even though I don't bathe her often. I was told to do a special dry bath with a powder and brush instead for their coat. They are great little dogs

you don't have to go to a breeder. i have the most beautiful-sweet-kind-intellige­nt-calm-loving pekingese in the world & i got him from my local county animal shelter. they are not only adorable, but...let's just say i could go on forever about this breed. i just love em!!!
