Watching your clip from sun starved Norway. I want to go to the beach!!

Living in sun starved Norway. I want to say one thing. I want to go to the beach!! I am not the greatest surfer but these waves I think I can handle on my long board. This brings me good memories from the time I used to live in Chiba Pref. Katsuura and Tateyama.

Ed mate, Tateyama (the point by the big flower nurssery) is probably my favorite spot in all of Chiba. It is just such a mission to get all the way down there... This winter, I think I'll get down there sometime... Is there no surfing in Norway? Ah well, you can still at least enjoy lots of fish!

Haha, I was surprised at the horses too! There must be a pony club around that area. I thought it looked like great fun.

I see the weather hasn't turned yet. Looks like it was a nice day at the beach!

This was about two weeks ago, but it was good weather out, and the water is still pretty warm. Actually, the surfing is better in winter - bigger waves, fewer posers ;)

Waves were a bit small, but it was a great day out. I've been promising myself I would get out more often from now on. It's a good workout, and great for relaxing the mind too.

Mate, the Xacti is a great camera, but the GoPro is pretty much indestructible and with a bit of practice, could be better.

I thought people might wonder about the spot, so if you look under "Stats & Data" I put the location on the Map Info for the vid. Pretty much smack in the middle of Kyujukuri, right near Toyoumi, where I took the last vid.

Cheers mate! Haha, I figured I was too unfit to surf, so I took the boogie board and thought with the fins, no problem... No such luck! I've had to start jogging to get myself into shape. Glad you liked it. I'm still trying to figure out a good way to carry the Xacti out - it is the better camera, although the GoPro is cheap and great fun.
