  • lol surprisingly small amount of recoil for a DE .50cal. That gun would come up and smack her in the nose in real life lol. Especially with those skinny arms.

  • A classic; all its remakes and reboots sucks.

  • Take your gloves off? And leave finger prints?

  • @TheMerrow3 in the movie she kills for the secret services and is officially declared dead, so I think fingerprints are not a problem!

  • @arnow77 So. . . Zombie Nikita comes back from the dead? Therefore the evidence is of her existence is just not a problem? Not even a little bit?

"Oh, it's alright guys. She was declared dead already, this is nothing, really, just some of her fingerprints a few years after she was wiped from our records. It's not like anything could really be behind this." Just zombies. Doing there thing. Killing people. Right guys?

  • @TheMerrow3 I think you'd better watch the movie before telling me i'm saying crap. it's a classic, you will love it. and for the fingerprints I assume that as nikita's employers are the secret services, they don't have problems to erase it from police's records. By the way I said "declared dead", and didn't say she "is dead". Just watch the movie it's really a great one

  • I want that desert eagle!!!

  • crime

  • anyone who says nikita is not beautiful needs their eyes checked ;)

  • YESS!!!

  • The cut at 3:27, where Serra's score matches Besson's tracking shot of Nikita belting it to what she thinks is her escape is burned into my mind. It's sensation as cinema, but it works on an emotional level, the image, the movement, the sound, all perfectly synchronised for effect.

  • Amazing scene. It makes one think about life.

  • epic, and the soundtrack^^

  • brilliant

  • My all time favorite. I just watched it. Bought the original France-DVD 9 years ago because of the quality (US DVD sucked hard back then)... One of the great films!

  • I think the french make as good of movies if not better movies then us americans

  • Assassination with deseart eagle.

    It gotta be the french.

  • Love the cruelty in that scene.

  • It's called murder by proxy, very commonly used nowadays on larger population scales.

  • Nous aussi les français on peut faire de très bons films! merci à luc besson

  • She uses only the most expensive weapons. Steyr AUG. Desert Eagle. He says it's loaded with 6+1. Assuming it's .50 AE, it would hold 7+1 (and that's the lowest capacity for that model in any caliber), so maybe she got gipped a round.

  • goddamnit the french have style to spare.

  • I like that scene too. Music couldn´t be better.

  • incredible scene and the music is just perfect.

  • One of my favorite scenes in film history. Incredible.

  • A great film! The Pygmalion..with GUNS :D

  • it's a fucking great legendary movie.

i wish there are films like this now.

  • desert eagle is the ultimate mother of all pistol...john woo should change make movies with dual desert eagle instead of dual beretta...not saying dual beretta sucks but it will b better once 4 a change...imagine how is like chow yun fatt action pose with dual desert eagles WOAH hahaha

  • this film look good :) i might check it out

i have only seen the hong kong remake of it and that is freaking excelent

the chinese remake is called Black Cat

  • oui

  • love this film!

  • too bad she followed this with the horrible american movie innocent blood

  • the best movie!!

  • Imo Luc Besson is an expert in hitman movies. Well in this case, "hit-woman".

  • part after she sees the bricked-up window is the best part of the scene!

  • I havent seen this movie in a long time, but from what I remember, it shows their brains being blown out in this scene. Is this edited for youtube?

  • nice..

  • I've seen this movie dozens of times, but I can't get over how sexy Anne looks from 2:40 to about 3:20. Hope I'm not the only one out there that thinks so ^_^.

  • @Grove0730 IMO it's 3:27 to about 3:32 ;)

  • This movie was cutting egde for it's time, the story line I found to be original. A must-see in my opinion for anyone serious about non-cookie cutter flicks. The final word "Cult classic"

  • @SumnerMurrayRedstone you sound like a failed actor... dont be so critic... the scene is crude and dry just as french humor..

  • this is just one of the finest movie ever, the directing and the acting are la creme de la creme..... and lets not forget the greate sound track from eric serra, this is amasing stuff...

  • Eric Serra is great. His music isn't subtle in terms background music but it enhances the mood of the moment. If you would've listened to his music of Goldeneye before seeing the movie, you'd have said "shit this is too electric" but it fits perfectly in the final cut. genius!

  • Disagree completely. Eric Serra is a pretentious untalented ass. They used him for one Bond movie as you know; he was never invited back again.

  • @spanishprisoner the lets welcome victor scene with the track is just perfect.. i dont understand y people have a go at him.. probably the reason y is not popular, is because no many people got fine taste nowdays is all about look ... sad really... love eric serra he produces the music exactly suited for the scene...

  • Gare de Lyon is where I took many train rides to the south of France.

  • Brings back memories of watching this in the late 80s in Paris. French version more sentimental than the Hollywood's rubbish translation.

Anne was casted perfectly, strong, muscular, exterior steely nerves yet vunerable & soft-hearted. Could really empathise with her plight & loved how her cold boss slowly set her free.

  • Anne, je t'adore ! Fantastique actrice !

  • You know, you can put your bag down...

Awesome line to use in a restaurant. lol.

  • Erica Serra's score make this perfect!

  • le film c est genia v.ol!!! but the american version cheap crap!!!

    merci!!!

  • poverina, fa tenerezza in questa scena.

  • keyofdavid88 the gun is an I.M.I. Desert Eagle! The Hollywood's most loved gun! C'mon it 's more famous than many actors.

Beside, with the extra clip of that hand cannon she could wipe away the brick wall and escape as his boss told. And then return to the headquartes saying there was any problem... XD

  • You're right this was one of the best films EVER MADE. The music is what put this whole scene together and got it going. This directer is fantastic at making movies.

That being said, anyone know what gun that is? I've wondered for years but never really ever asked anyone.

  • Anne Parillaud was dead ringer for Audrey Hepburn in one scene of this film (later in the movie another restuarant scene where she comes in wearing a white wide brim hat with holes in it) spoooky...

  • it s because you are too young and need to go at disneyland paris

  • Nah, it's everywhere in French publing buildings. Booooooooooring.

  • You are boring

  • classic decor as you say, belong to the most visited city in the world, shame for you!

    I love Paris!

  • Watched this in French class in school

Need to find a copy, great film

  • the best film of all

    american remake sucks

  • @zajebanbosnjak exactly

  • @zajebanbosnjak american cinema sucks :o

  • @zajebanbosnjak Hollywood always has to mess up a good thing, ya know. lol

  • @zajebanbosnjak point of no return with Bridgette Fonda?...yeah it didn't carry half the weight this movie did..i was thoroughly disappointed.

  • brick wall. ur fucked now bitch

  • ma grand mere joue dedans !!

  • Besson's finest moment - what a movie!

  • Agreed.

  • un classique

  • My favorite scene, so emotional

  • Mine too!

  • i seconde that! love everything about this part. i agree it is very emotional. love the music by eric serra.

  • great movie!
