  • Dear Vidura,

Thanks for posting this classic, I have not seen this movie. as Pooji mentioned "Onna Babo Billo Enawa" from Lenin was another hit, with Gamini Joe Swarna Rex and Piyadasa.

  • never knew that is Piyadasa Wijekoon (young)

Wow ! what a difference compared to

    Boobumba in

    "Onna Babo Billo Enawa"

  • thanks a lot Vidura posting this.

I am seeing it for only the 2nd time. I st time was in the

theater. I have been looking for this.

One one I talked to did not even know such a song existed.

By the way the background music at the beginning is the Jothi song "anangaya mang anangaya mang"

  • Didn't realise it was 'anangaya mang' at the background. Thanks for your comment pooji.

  • Thanks. A prime example of 50s Sri Lankan cinema with Prem Jayanth in his slightly brooding style. Clarice is nice and seems not too far away from her big role in Mathalan.

I think Eddie Yapa and Tarzan themselves are singing. Nice two part moustache on Tarzan.

Wijekoon is really young here! He's no where as big as he would be later in the 1970s.

  • Thanks Upendra for your comment.
