I played gears of war 2 online on an american host (connection between AUS and USA isnt so good) and the lag was so bad, i was in spectate and some guy was shooting someone else and the bullits were registering but on my screen this guy was shooting about 4 metres to the left of the other guy, but there was still blood pouring out, and the GOW2 servers are probably the worst i have ever seen along with the NFS UC servers

I have a lag switch and this is not what it does.If you want proof play me ha jk. This is just a host that is out of the region that we are in. Which means it is a very slow connection for everyone else. If he used a lag switch, you could still walk around freely but on the lag switchers screen you stop moving, if you shoot the gun and bullets never come out its a lag switch.If you shoot the gun and bullets eventually come out it is lag.
