question to everybody: does anybody know anything about that why does my Mom say that O'Connor sponsored the IRA? I guess it's bullshit, but she said as much as i have to ask somebody who knows her better than us.
please give me normal answers, i'm not curious for spiteful gossips and so on.
nooowwwwwwww .ive never seen her smile let alone laugh, hope shese doing well n stopped being grumpy, ile give er a ride on me horse that might cheer er up
@MickeyLove01 i don't know, what do you see. she has mimicry and gestures, just see some of her concert videos.
she makes this face only when she talks, but i also see gestures on this 'talking' face. i don't feel that she plays the blessed. there is only two or one video where i found her too much unworldly.
Poor little rich girl. Joan of Arc had a cross very heavy, a big job to do ... but Sinead let the hassel of the people approach you much and often, because you make a difference, so you're a leader though not of choice.
what a great interview, thanks for posting this. Sinead is awesome. What a great spirit. You can tell she has grown up and matured alot. She seems alot more grounded now. You go Sinead!!!!
Also sdrotch,Sinead says that making music is the thing that's important to her,but the rest of it is difficult--the press and all.She doesn't like to leave her children.Sinead says the press is too agressive and pries too much into people's personal lives.
only the few have the courage to stood up and swim against the stream ( as the masses like to woar and murmure but rarely leads..isn't that hypocritical/), only a financial minded hore would hesitate to do whats right like some mindless conservative, confort zone at time is the biggest hold back for mankind.
people, I'm an Italian girl and I really adore Sinéad, really. My problem is that I couldn't understand what she said because I can understand english more or less but for me she speaks too fast...for ex I didn't understand why does the people laugh? can someone write me what did she say in the third part? and why does people laugh?pleeeeeeaaaaassssse........please, please, please.....
the interviewer asked her what does she think about Britney Spears shaving her head ..she is so sweet that actually defended her saying that is insane to call a person insane for shaving her head, then Sinead says that maybe Britney did it because she was listening to her records (people laughs), she says that heard she was one of Britney's idols .."oh shit, it's my fault!" (people laughs)
..that's what i understood, i'm not 100% sure though because i'm south american
No bastards...not the young woman, i mean the poet, the rebel.
Now she's 40 & got responsibilities.
But just for the record, that 'Polaroid Tearing' of hers of yours act was just awesome. Maam I would put you next to the Tankman of Tiananmen Square. Your courage gave us a cause.
She's become a better interviewee. Don't get me wrong, she's great, but she used to contradict herself and come off as slightly crazy back in the day. I figured that she was just growing up.
She got older, wiser and mellowed out. She's still hot, to boot. Like wine, Sinead just got better.
wow, I haven't heard her speak in years, and it impressed me the way her speaking voice has changed (didn't notice that when she sings though). I guess that's because of chain smoking... such a shame. But she still has one of the most beautiful and expressives voices on earth, if not the most.
sinead is wonderful she expects to be out there and be a HUGE star again! whether she likes it or not! she's brilliant theres never been anybody else like her! honest, passionate talented and brilliant
I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with her poise and eloquence. She's got valid points to make, and despite the historical media representations, she comes across as reasonable and sane.

I think Skinhead O'Connor should be a stand-up comic, she's got such a deadpan face, like Jack Dee. Does she ever fucking laugh though?

Here we go:
the guy asks what she thinks about britney cutting her hair short.
sinead: its just normal for girls this age and its insane how people see some kind of mental problem in this action .
the guy asks if sinead thinks that the new haircut might be brit's way of breaking free of the "girly-media-britney-image".
