music files you shouldn't have to worry much unless you get a pop up from limewire that say "this file may open your cpu to a virus" or something like that i dont remember.
with programs files i would definetlly say use with caution or close to not at all. i downloaded a program off of limewire with a virus and my norton thing was outdated so it doesn't work right, but it does tell me when i have downloaded a virus, it just didn't try to stop it.

yeah around 90% of passwords are 10 characters or under so most of the time it will find the password quickly. obviosuly for a 35 character it coudl take up to a month or 2...
so theoretically if i change my 35 or maybe a 40 letter/number-random password every month or maybe every week, it gets nearly 99% unhackable (the 1 percent for the lucky ones that get the pwd at first try :P )
well my 8-11 pass character takes about 10 mins and it is made up of mostly random letters and numbers. it says that at the most it shoudl takean hour for an 11 character

the only problem with that is that you do not have the origional password so when the admin logs in and find the password is different he will know that his account has been compramised and probably delete it. with mine you actually find out the password (not that you should be cracking a school admin password with this program...) still nice tutorial

where are you doing the crack. at hoem, at school, it will find any 11 character passowrd (without alphanumericals0 in an hour or under. so just wait. seriously it finds my 9 character pass which is totally randmo in about 2 minutes
no if you want to crack a remote password try getting THC hydra at (THC . org) its a command line based remote password cracker. also you can try brutus which is which has GUI but isnt as good as hydra. oh and once you crack the remote password you can use a program like pwdump to retrieve the password hash and decrypt the password hash using a program like john the ripper... hope that helps

no its a passweord cracker so your scanner would say that. LC4 is a legitmiate commercial program, i promise it isnt a virus, sometims you just got to igonre those stupid virus scanners becasue they getit wrong so many times. try kaspersky anti virus, that is the most reliable. :D

the only problem with that is that you do not have the origional password so when the admin logs in and find the password is different he will know that his account has been compramised and probably delete it. with mine you actually find out the password (not that you should be cracking a school admin password with this program...) still nice tutorial

are you using windows vista, this program doesnt work on vista. i just downloaded lc4 from the same site mentioned in this video and re-installed LC4 and everythign worked perrfectly. i can only imagin that this is what happens when it is installed on vista...

Whoa! which download is the trojan? the LC4 or the crack. i downloaded both and tested with avg, kaspersky and mcafee and no viruses turned up... also no one else is haivng any problems... pelase reply with more info so i can solve the problem. thanks for revealing this to me i appreciate it

where are you doing the crack. at hoem, at school, it will find any 11 character passowrd (without alphanumericals0 in an hour or under. so just wait. seriously it finds my 9 character pass which is totally randmo in about 2 minutes

try using LC5, and downloading a crack for that. i am pretty sure LC5 works on vista

you can do this in command prompt on a server without downloading but its complicated and you have to be on their server or computer

no if you want to crack a remote password try getting THC hydra at (THC . org) its a command line based remote password cracker. also you can try brutus which is which has GUI but isnt as good as hydra. oh and once you crack the remote password you can use a program like pwdump to retrieve the password hash and decrypt the password hash using a program like john the ripper... hope that helps

so you have clicked patch and it has said 'crack succesful' (or something like that) well now the LC4 is cracked and you can use the brute force attack,which is the best cracking utility on LC4. if you are unable to use the Brute force attack aftger it said crack succesful then please message me back. :)
