Actually, most historians believe Jesus did indeed exist, but they don't think he's God or the son of God. According to them, he was a guy with a lot of charisma and an excellent leader and manage to start a new religion -or something like that.

Just a thought.

There are numerous prophesies in the Old Testament written hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus that accuratly predict His coming, ministry on earth and death- e.g.Isaiah 53. I cant see how the Bible can be a "stupid book"- unless Im missing something!

While I believe the bible is God's perfectly preserved Word, let's put that aside for the moment. The King James bible was the staple of language education for generations! It's structure and language usage is magnificent. Being proficient in the language of the bible meant you could read and comprehend just about anything. Bye the way, the evidence for the existence of Jesus is overwhelming.
