It was simple for wcw fucking managment. This was the show NWO got buried, and would soon after ( im thinking SuperBrawl ) ended. All because of Sting along with giant/luger and maybe a double cross from Macho Man. Not continue the NWO for another Year and a half. Fucking retarded
That match was only 7 minutes, what a shitty finish, I would be disappointed if I bought that PPV but stings entrance is by far the sickest entrance I've seen in professional wrestling history...

This was the beginning of the end of WCW. Because Hogan wouldn't do the job clean to Sting we got this BS finish. Of course after the long Sting/nwo feud Sting should have had the clean win here at Starrcade '97. But it didn't go down that way and because of it, the feud never got the big payoff and it seemed like a ripoff to the fans --at least that's my take on it. Hogan sux.
I agree. Sting should have got a clean win. They should have fazed the nWo out after this and started to work on something new. Hogan had too much say in WCW and they ran the nWo far too long. They ran the WCW into the ground. It's a shame.
WCW should have never given Hogan "creative control" over his own character. It hurt them in the long run. Hogan said that WCW was the house that Hollywood buit. Bullsh*t! WCW is the house that Flair built! Bischoff kissed Hogan's ass and buried Flair. It was disgusting.

They built this angle for a long time, and the fans should have been rewarded with a clean pin of Hogan by Sting.
The Hogan fast pin of Sting and restart really watered down the eventual conclusion, and disappointed a lot of fans.
Note to wrestling promoters: deliver what the fans deserve.
