Not sure I liked this version, there was no really chance to connect with characters which is basically what this song is for :( I don't know any of these people but can I point out the guy in the red shirt is not very good at stomping :L but the girl a couple across from him (left) really showed character and got into it so she was really good :) overall im pleasantly surprised at how tight the vocals were so WELL DONE :)
are unwed. That particular verse was written to be a woman who wants to do so much, and she's starting to realize that she's now thirty and hasn't really accomplished much. At twenty, most people are just beginning to go after what they want. Also, "I think a little more than I probably should" isn't necessarily UNcharacteristic of a party girl, but it says nothing of that wild edge, though I know this was a freshman workshop, so that might be why. Otherwise, it was great! Lots of talent :]
First of all, I love love love making this a big ensemble number rather than one person representing the kind of character depicted in each verse. That's sort of what Edges is about, showing the day to day problems that we ALL go through, rather than a few people, and the way you did this really made that hit home. A couple lyrical changes didn't seem to fit, though. I realize this was a young group, so "20" made more sense for them than 30 but "20 and unwed" feels weak. MOST twenty year olds
