Overkill hyas always been a solid thrash/ heavy metal band. Recommend you check out VSD from Baltimore. Recorded live in 1987, VSD has 5 songs now on youtube. VSD- Girl troubles, Mental breakdown , Conformity Sucks, and 2 others.

I've seen bands like Iron Maiden (twice), Ozzy Osbourne (twice), Heaven and Hell, Megadeth (twice), Slayer, Dream Theater, and a whole bunch of younger bands (Children of Bodom twice, Cannibal Corpse, and a whole list of others that is too long to list here) and they put on the best show i've ever seen.
