  • All very well, with the exception of you calling yourself a "mediocre player" - who are you trying to fool? ;^)

    Nice video and explanation, thanks!

  • Hi, I'm a snooker player. A couple of retired gents sometimes play Billiards in my club and I wondered how they could be so good at the in-off (carom) Now the secret is revealed. Very interesting.

  • it's not entirely true... You carom the cue ball into the pocket like 8 times each at the same speed. But if you try to carom cue ball into the pocket with a half ball hit with high/maximum speed that cue ball goes nowhere near the pocket. If you hit that particular shot (from rail with top spin) you show real firm that cue ball is going to deflect towards the rail real soon after contact. If the rail wasn't there it would have made a huge bend afterwards.

  • These lessons are fantastic. I've been studying the half ball hit very carefully thanks to you. Keep up the great work!

  • you're neat
