@wongavery1698 I don't think they got problems on door design. People got hurt just because they rush into the train, which no railroads in the world would recommend passenger to do this.
@KCR58 actually, the letters mean ALOT (car equipment and technical specs)... but since it's been two years since you posted this, by the benefit of the doubt i will assume that you now know better.....

Former MTR just gave a English letter for each type of car . For Example A-B-C-D , C-E-E-F-G-H-K and V-W-X-Y-Z . There are no special meanings .
