I don't consider the young Frankenstein a mel brooks film considering that it was written by and mostly directed by Gene Wilder.

I hope mel brooks has not spoiled it. like he almost did the film if you watch the deleted scenes that he wanted in, He tried to make it too slap stick and cabaret.

Haha - oh man I'd love to see this - there's not much with Mel Brooks name attached to it that I don't enjoy. Plus, you know Mel won't live forever, enjoy him and his brilliance while you can.
