Are you high or stupid? Teachers are evaluated anywhere from 2-4 times a year. We have benchmarks and standards. Not only that, but our "incentive pay" is based on student tests... so if students screw up their tests the teachers get screwed on pay. GOD FORBID we hold back a kid and hurt his itty bitty ego!

Sending a bill to the President he has announced his intention to veto is just a ploy for political gain. If Dems really cared about the troops as much as they want us to believe they do, they'd fund the efforts. Or they'd cut off funding altogether so troops came home TOMORROW. But leaving them in the field with an announced surrender date is stupid.

The ploy to get the President to Veto a Spending plan with a Pull out date is so they can say "SEE, We tried to get Bush to Pull out but he still wants to wage his personal war and it isn't our fault that we gave him permision to use Troops for the U.N. operation earlier"...lol
