its not worth giving your fish an infection and dieing. worst thing that happens if you let it be is the fish looses the eye. which isnt that bad. i know plenty of people with one eyed fish that do just as good as ones with two. you can do it but leaving it alone wont kill the fish either.
thats a normal thing, when cows, horses, or any animal gets a air pocket its normal to use a hypodermic to releave the pressure. ive have to use a hypo before b/c our cow had gas that wouldnt pass. we stuck her and pulled out the back of the hypo and let her fart thru the bulb of the hypo.
@Tezlaze can be one of many things , yes including bacterial infections. but what is showed relieves the pressure , we have done it to cows, horses, pigs, etc....
i see. the clownfish's eye is fulled of gas and that shot was 2 remove the gas from its eye.(for ppl that didnt figure it out why he did that) so its a treatment.
if you're gonna get offended at people swearing on the internet, that should be the least of your worries in life. I woulld be more concerned about going out to get velcrow shoes, those laces can be tricky bro.

wow that shit looks pain full does that usually happen to clarkiis or all clownfish and what coses it hope my clarkii doesnt get that great vid though.
Please refrain from using profanity when it is not called for, please edit your post. No this is not a common ailment so you shouldnt have to worry about a clarkii clownfish developing this.
if I did that, I would have accidentally stabbed his eye. You have nice steady hands. I don't.

How exactly does that occur? What is the gas? My blue headed wrasse had it a while ago but I let it go away on it's own...So I'm curious.

Hey Jake,
Jeff from SA here. Great vid buddy. Did you have to use any meds after the procedure? How is the little guy doing?

great video - never seen that before, how did you get your clownfish so calm and still?
mjb10019216 3 years ago 9
I'm sure the fish really appreciated that, this is what it means to be an aquarist - taking care of your livestock. Good job and great videod.
