Haha! the same thing happened to me a few months ago! I was casting a 4 oz pyramid weight on 20lb mono, and watched it soar out past the waves before I realized the line wasn't attached. The fisherman about 100 yards down the beach said the line snapping sounded like a .22
@malloebloodline thats the classic "where the hell is my weight" cast aka the "fuck" cast because it involves the line breaking and loosing your weight
(14lbs) 0.31/ultima distance gold, the reason the lead parted was from pulling the lead from the ground on a previous cast using a modified gemini discordger which damaged the knot
