is there alot of difference between this lens and the kits lens ? ( 18 - 55mm )

@Isotouchy it' just OK. I'd say the same quality as the kit. The only thing is that you lose sharpness past about 150mm and there are some read bad chromatic aberrations and purple fringing at those long focal lengths as well. I loved this when I got it, but now I'm over it. If I use it, it's at 75mm.
