This makes me think of a resurrected industrial foundry. People have gotten some steam engines working, and have a couple of small rail trolleys running for delivering things, but overall, the place is still almost destroyed, just beginning to be rebuilt.
Kinda sounds like one of the themes from Planescape Torment. Probably helped that Mark Morgan scored both games. Jesus, what happened to that guy he did such amazing soundtracks.
This track always creeps me out. It not really scary its just kinda eerie.Especialy when your alone at 12 a-clock at night in a dark room.So fitting isn't it?
Does anyone know a store or website where I can get the fallout 1=2 soundtracks? I love the music. It gives the games such great atmosphere and really do a good job of capturing that sense of loneliness youd get in a post-apocolyptic scenario.
The musics are, obviously, also located in the game's files. You need a special program to access those .dat files, found in No Mutants Allowed, if I recall correctly.
@Kuhlfurst and also if you dont already own the game, you can buy it from gog.com (along with fallout 1 as well) and you can download the music files right from there
Dont know why, anytime i hear Vault Citys Theme or Chinatowns Theme i go nuts, theyre so energetic yet so relaxing, fckin love 'em. Also, Redding's theme, which is originally in the movie The Stand.

*lemme see if I can't pickpocket this here blue guard, that fancy looking gun looks cool*
*i hear the dreaded entering combat sound as i click the gun* *guard goes first*
*I watch my character's shoulders twist back and forth rapidly while screaming, then falls back first to the ground with a lot of blood leaking out*
*My character's hit point counter goes in the negatives*
"You have perished" says the narrator whom likes to rub salt in everything.

@Dregonne *tries to pickpocket guard*
*sound of combat start*
Enemy turn: Shi guard hits you for 0 dmg.
*pull out Bozar*
*clicks the "burst" button while aiming at guard*
*Pieces of flesh and blood fly out as the .308 bullets rip through the guard's body*
You hit Shi Guard for 2963 damage.
You see: A Shi Guard. He looks: dead
*loots the loot off the corpse thinking to himself - should have left me to steal it off you, you would have lived*

Or, you could not commit theft and download them off of steam. At a good price, I might add.
