  • Can you please do Kajagoogoo - Kajagoogoo i think it was their title song and it was in Sixteen Candles. I'd love to learn it :)

  • Great version... well done... more Kaja Goo Goo songs...

  • your videos are great, they've totally helped me in learning the bass. keep making them!

  • @miketechno Thats always nice to hear. All the best

  • You're too smooth mate I gotta find a clip of someone not so polished so I can figure wtf the fingering is :0)

  • awesome bassline! ^^

  • My dad is a "thumber" and I think that is the only way to really play a bass. Shows excellent talent!

  • brilliant

  • Now try Chic's "I Want Your Love." The Bass line is killer.

  • btw hows the neck is it 7.25 or 9.5 in radius?is it easy to play?tnx.

  • which is much better color this 3tone sunburst or the black one?

  • Now my nose doesn't seem so big anymore.

  • You've got a nice bass, I have a Fender Precision, and it's the same color as yours.

  • theres something wrong in the middle....starting in 1:33 up to 1:48 and again between 2:18 and 2:33....

  • Yikes thats a tough one! Very nice!

  • nick beggs played a jazz bass for a while...but i must say that the musicman stingray is wonderful also if you are looking for that classic sound with a stringray DONT get a 3ban EQ it doesnt sound as good as a 2 belive it or not!...great!

  • smooth...

  • Incredible!..I love this song and the way you play the bass.A brilliant play-along and a singular tone...

  • Mmm.

  • this is phenomenal! how did you get that tone? what effects to you use??

  • that line makes me really thrill, thanks dude! great style.

  • That was hot.

  • Fucking Amazing...great job man! How many years you play?

  • About 15 years in total, slapping for about the last 2. Cheers mate!

  • @MrDamo123 I think that's bloody amazing. Where you from? You may not think what you do is perfect and it isn't but you and zuma are the only two bassists on youtube who I know who can get that close to it. It's VERY close. You two are of the most polished ones I've seen so far. You should try "The Reflex" by Duran Duran or "Some Like It Hot" by the Power Station. Both basslines done by John Taylor, my favorite bassist of all time. Cheers mate!

  • @MrNostalgiaX Wow, thanks for your great comment. Taken a year out from playing but now getting back into it and comments like yours really help with my motivation. All the best.

  • this is great!!!!!! but it needs more treble so you can hear those high accents!!

  • Great bass line ! thanks for showing , well done , grtz, Ken

  • so very sweet as usual, well done, and thanks

  • Thanks very much!

  • I looove this bassline and I think i''l try to play it

When it's done I will post the video on Youtube ^^

(Sorry if my English is bad I'm French lol...)

  • I will look forward to viewing it. Thanks for the cmment!

  • Another wonderful play-along. Keep them comin'.

  • Cheers mate!

  • What a pleasantly unusual bassline. Like your videos. Thanks for paying homage to the under-recognized bassists of the 80's!

  • Its a pleasure my friend and I will continue to do so.

  • Gr8 rythm. Fab playing. Are you using an effects pedal on this one?

  • Cheers mate. Just some chorus and a lot of compression via the Pandora.

  • well executed m8 nice 1

  • Cheers mate. Not an easy one as I am sure know so thanks :-)

  • Clean my friend..very good, tribute to nick beggs

  • Thank you. As we both know how good he is, that is truly a compliment.

  • I've never really listened to this song since I've been playing bass so I never realised how good the bass line was until I saw this video. Keep up that good work :D

  • Thanks for your comment. Yeah, I think its the most imaginative or all 80's brit pop basslines.

  • You should sing it. >:)

  • Nice style, clean and smoooth! Only two covers of this that are awesome on youtube, and yours is definitely one of them. Privileged to be one of the earlier views of this. (View hits on this are going to surpass man)

  • Cheers for your awesome comment. Glad you liked it!!!

  • Cheers mate. I think this is my favourite. Although next weeks (Running in the Family by Level 42) will be a close second.

  • groovmak is correct. this is the trickiest bass line of any 80's pop song. you did VERY GOOD!

  • Pleased you thought so.

  • Hi mate...I really love it! You do it in an excellent way (as usual...)

Great tone and taste...for a really complex song.

    5/5

    Fabio

  • Cheers my friend. I always appreciate your expert opinion.

  • My pleasure!!!
