@MrDamo123 Great play, real good one, i love play Bassguitar too, sadly mostly im busy much to much my responsibilities and work all lifetime, nearly my bassguitar sleeps again 10 years, i wish to have the talent to get me this way playing slapping, i really enjoy listening, like Sting or Jack Bruce plays... thanks alot..im aged 50 alr, German, but still got the feeling and miss the playing... take care and keep on going...Good luck
nick beggs played a jazz bass for a while...but i must say that the musicman stingray is wonderful also if you are looking for that classic sound with a stringray DONT get a 3ban EQ it doesnt sound as good as a 2 belive it or not!...great!
@MrDamo123 I think that's bloody amazing. Where you from? You may not think what you do is perfect and it isn't but you and zuma are the only two bassists on youtube who I know who can get that close to it. It's VERY close. You two are of the most polished ones I've seen so far. You should try "The Reflex" by Duran Duran or "Some Like It Hot" by the Power Station. Both basslines done by John Taylor, my favorite bassist of all time. Cheers mate!
@MrNostalgiaX Wow, thanks for your great comment. Taken a year out from playing but now getting back into it and comments like yours really help with my motivation. All the best.
I've never really listened to this song since I've been playing bass so I never realised how good the bass line was until I saw this video. Keep up that good work :D
Nice style, clean and smoooth! Only two covers of this that are awesome on youtube, and yours is definitely one of them. Privileged to be one of the earlier views of this. (View hits on this are going to surpass man)
This is so much better than it looks!!!

What a pleasantly unusual bassline. Like your videos. Thanks for paying homage to the under-recognized bassists of the 80's!
