  • How long do these last when you do this? Thank you.

  • @KinkyKurlyBarbie Ive had it for over a year and its still the same

  • How Long Does It Take To Dry & Be Ready To Use?

  • @BratzDoll56 around 30min sorry for the delay in response

  • Wow... that was hilariously cool. Thanks =)

  • i have a question, does it stay cremy or does it dry up?

    anyways nice video :)

  • can we use it just as a cream eyeshadow? i say about other colors, of course ; )

  • Great video! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • Wonderful idea!!!!! :)

  • Ok this is ridiculous. Every single tutorial on this uses hair dryers, or microwaves, or candles to melt them or something. Just take off the backing and push the product out with the end of a colored pencil. Its takes like 10 seconds that way, wastes less product, and is MUCH less messy. I don't get why no one else does it that way...

  • well im trying to depot my milk white one i use it everyday..

  • hey babe, after the product cool down, its gel like ? or drier ?

  • It made a poo poo :') lol

  • wicked! I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!

  • oh wow! im glad i stumbled across this vid. thanks! i subbed :)

  • Thanks soooo much! I just bought Milk yesterday and then it dawned on me that i need a doggone sharpener. This is ingenious! I absolutely love all of your videos.

  • i did this yesterday and the product would not come out and my blower is hott i was like wtf i had to 'blow on the hole' for the product to get out lol it was a mess i swear i got a bad jumbo pencil!

  • omg im sorry but when the stuff came out it looked sooo funny lol

    great vid!

  • @somethinfierce52 I agree it did look funny lol thanks for commenting

  • Hi i know you said that you got the container from a sample but do you know where i could get something to depot mines?

    like something i could buy?

  • @VannersHEARTSMakeup

there are a lot of places try (ravingbeautycosmeticscom)

  • i would have never thought to do this...

  • i never thought of that!

  • it dnt get hard??

  • Thanks for sharing !!!

  • @mscarmel341 ur welcome

  • I'm sorry if I sound dumb but are you doing this to create a primer?

  • @Marenyvas just to have a base in a pot form

  • where did you purchase the nyx jumbo pencils from?

  • @sweet9247 my local bss

  • is it liqiudy?

  • @habbibi100 no its like a solid cream just like the paintpots

  • this was really cool. I never thought of using a blowdryer before. you definitely got all that product out that's for sure!

  • @s0yummy thanks

  • awesome! simple, easy, cheap, and quick!

  • @jilaipi thanks

  • Ok so i just did this....and my jumbo pencil exploded everywhere.

  • @toomuchtv93 what the same thing that i did, ive done this many times, you can blow down into the pot you have the keep the air blowing at a side ways angel unless you are blowing directly into the back of the pencil ive done this like 10x and never had that happen sorry

  • I hate to sharpen them too! As a suggestion, MzShoeFreak has an easier technique to "de-potting" or "de-sticking" your jumbo pencils. She has a video posted and you may want to check it out. When I saw the hanger and heard you mention a blow dryer, I just had to share the information with you. I hope it helps!

  • @BargainClipper thanks

  • That is soooo much easier if u put the pot inside a cup break the point off in the pot take the metal baking off and microwave and it like liquid and its much smoother and cleaner. the person i saw used a styrofoam cup but what ever works...

  • @kkimberly2004 hey as long as u come to the same conclusion

  • can you do this with a regular pencil like a NYX lip liner or eye liner?

  • @illustrious109 I don't think so, only the jumbo lip pencils from what I know they seem to be a different consistancy

  • This is too Cool. This way is quick and easy.

  • I love this video. This was a great idea Precious. You are creative and thanks for sharing, God bless!

  • @mikers1242 thank you

  • I think the product is much better preserved in the pencil. OK I 'll waste some product sharpening the pencil. But it may last for years. If I think the point is dirty or "gone bad" after sharpening it's all fresh and ready to use. Depotting would be no use unless I use the product so often it 'll only last a month or so. (Because in the container it will dry faster and get dirty from fingers or brushers.

  • @jufconnie

    great points

  • Amazing! i will try this!!!! i need to try this!

  • @callmema14 tell me how it turns out

  • That looked so easy. Do you think their white eyeshadow base is actually Milk depotted? :)

  • @KellyJelly9976 i think (and they feel the same) they had it when i purchased the jumbo pencil

  • Where did you get the mac like container?

  • @Girlloveszebrapink that was a sephora sample container

  • @PreCi0uSsS did you get it out of the travel set? sry just want to know

  • Never saw it done this way.. I saw it done in the microwave... Thanks

  • @almondbrown09 i would be scared to put it in the microwave

  • Very neat.

  • @doxwifey1999 your welcome

  • Excellent!!!

    Thanks for sharing.

  • @Skye525 ur welcome

  • @Skye525 ur welcome

  • Great video !!! i will try it out!! :)

  • @Mac22Lover

    great let me know

  • Thanks this tip is helpful. Did you know they have the NYX eyeshadow base already depooted now in white?

  • @Calidiva77 yes and it cost twice the price I almost purchased it but was like this is the same as the white pencil

  • @PreCi0uSsS Really? Its $4.99 in the BSS here. Amazing how the prices on the NYX products vary from place to place, the local BSS sells all tier lipsticks, liners, and glosses for &1.99!! The single shadows are $3.99, nothing is over $8 and thats including the 10 shadow collections!

  • @Calidiva77 Just for the white base the wanted $7 that is crazy

  • neat. y do u take it out of the pencil, does that make it easier to use?

  • @cookie198524

for me its easier to use and not as messy

  • Hi Diva! Thank u for the tute. Is it possible for you to do a quick vid on the showing us the consistency after thie cooling process? I'd love to see.

  • @echarm74 if you look at the beginning of the video it is cooled in beginning when I am talking, its the same consistancy as the pencil just in a pot

  • @mzzflawlessbeauty ur welcome

  • @yardiechick1276 thanks

  • thx

  • @blkbarbie0 ur welcome

  • @sherylpamplin thank you, good luck in depotting its very easy

  • how long does this take... not time elapsed?

  • @TheBellaNaturale 5-8min tops

  • Wow,thanks for sharing:-)

  • @Mslady41 ur welcome

  • this is a great Idea....thx Diva!

  • @SeanyPooh89 ur welcome

  • I heard about this on a vid a few days ago and was tld to put it in the microwave. Good thing I was too busy this weekend cause I was thinking I would have to split the pencil apart and then nuke it! That just seemed almost as much work as finding the sharpener.

This vid has beena great help. I'm going to try it today.

    Thanks

  • @ILoveToScrub i would be afraid to put something like that in the microwave.

  • Do they dry out faster when depotted (like the UDPP) and put in a container like this?

  • @missbhav no its the same as the pencil they don't try out faster to me they last longer in my opinion

  • Love it! Such a great idea and so helpful! The quality is so good too! Thanks for sharing! 2 thumbs up!=)

  • @HenrietteCapulet thanks

  • I just asked another guru how she did this. Thanks for posting this. Im doing this tomorrow!

  • @sheta2003 ur welcome

  • thanks for the vid, but dumb question ---> How do I use it now? Do I use it as if it is a creme liner and use the liner brush, or do I use it as a base with a C-brush. I'm really wondering what consistency it takes on now.

    Thanks

  • @ibqtubu the consistency is the same, and its the same as the mac paintpots, you use it with a c-brush as a base

  • Good camera quality! :] This helped.

  • @JanessaTheCow thanks

  • very clever

  • @Averil07111 thanks

  • thats my fav perfume in the background... love the vid
