  • Did you make the music? because at 4:16 you have drums. XD

  • where did you get all the stuff for it?

  • Very cool! Thanks for post!

  • Sweet outside loop you have running there!

  • SWEET AND SIMPLE!

  • what a shame when all three balls lock it doesnt spin round on a pivot so it can be shot again

  • When you flip the board over, I see that the flippers (on top) are not facing in the same direction as the ones on the bottom. Can you explain this a bit more in detail?

  • @Skyman2596

Hey i can even explain it, there are 2 pieces of wood connected by a metal bar, they move proportionally to eachother

  • cool

  • flippers?

  • any tutorials on how to make the flippers work like that i thought of making one myself in the past but couldn't figure out the mechanics for the flippers

  • Loved it! I'm making one do you have tips for beginners

  • Hahaha, sweet. Im makin one out of cardboard. (I know, total noob compared to his. But I dont have the resources for a wooden or plastic one.) but yeah. Thats a creative idea for the bumpers.

  • to be honest with you this should be art.

  • whats the first song called? btw you insired me. :^) plz post up more vids of this amazing project.

  • how far apart are the bumpers when in the down position

  • I'm also thinking of making my own pinball game & looked at many projects on youtube. Your video has been a great help in designing & given me some new ideas to work with. One of the best out there. Thanks so much!

  • I gotta say, this is the most impressive non-electric homebuilt pinball I've seen yet. I too am electronic stupid, and it's really neat to go back to the roots and build a completely mechanical pinball (which keeps it simple and easy to work on). It's great to see you were still able to keep some modern features (targets, multiball) I might totally try building something similiar, nice job man.

  • My favrite part is at 6:41

  • This is a really cool pinball table! So simple yet seems to work so well.

  • Could you tell me the angle that you have the table at? i have to make mine by specification and planning so i need to know from the start. Thank you

  • what's the songs??

  • thanks

  • can you tell me what wood should i use because iam making a pinball game and can i have help with the flippers tnxs

  • go multi ball!

  • good work!!!

  • Just some questions:

    1. How large are the pinballs you use?

    2. How long/ tall is your pinball machine?

I'm just wondering, gonna make my own machine someday, and yours seemed like the size I could make for mine ;)

  • good job !!

  • cool

  • poor poor poor!

  • You sir, are a genious!

So simple and yet, so fun! :D

Multiball and target system created with wood, metal and skill.

I subscribed and i'm looking forward to see some development on this one!

  • Very simple flippers!

  • By far the best I've seen on video. Really like it!

  • With some microswitches and a microcontroller you could relatively easily add some kind of electronic scorekeeping.

  • 3:26 soooo cool!

  • Comment removed

  • cool design now i want to make 1!!!!

  • thats great you need to tweak the angling

  • amazing work so far! keep it up!

  • That multi ball idea is awesome should add some rube goldberg type stuff would make pinball really good game id say to stern guy in last question

  • i work at stern piball and right now me and the designer team are working on sonic pinball for sega fans. We don't know the exact release date yet. I shouldn't be telling you this cuz it's sposed to be a secret. i workin on a video but it's hard to film in secret. i just spejd my spare time on youtube getting ideas for more.

  • ¡that's a great pinball!you possibly will be a pinball creator, or at least work in stern pinball. (sorry, buy i speak spanish. my message is not too perfectly)

  • thats great for in progress

  • Very creative!

  • this is made really nice. flippers are great

  • i made 1 at school in woodwork

  • hey if you like this one you will like the one me and my friend r makin so subscribe to see updates on it and tell us what you think we r starting it next week

  • OOH MY GOOOOD!

I've never seen such a wonderful structure, It's awsome oh I'm ecstatic!

  • nice job

  • how does the flippers work?

  • Great job on your machine. I am working on one that has a double flipper on the left side. If you think the regular flippers are a challenge, this will really put your skills to the test. It took me weeks to get them just right.

  • mathew good job with the flippers looks neat

  • I'm making a wooden pinball machine too, but those hammers or whatever almost drove me nuts!!! I had to do try it like 6 times before i got it right!! ;D

  • Mathew, nice job so far. Good detail and your video editing is very good as well. I will keep an eye on the progress Keep up the good work, I bet your son loves it.

  • I would love to see it. Could you email me a photo of your progress or better yet, upload a vid.

  • Smooth! I love how you created the multiball ejector, and the trapped balls make great drop targets. My hat is off to you!

  • Thanks for the comments. It's nice to get positive feedback from someone who seems to know a thing or two about pinball.

  • Hey, its Nic. Its pretty amazing. How long has it taken you so far? I probably never would have had the patience to make all these pieces with that quality. Can't wait to see more

  • I started it about 6 months ago but I'm a single Dad with 4 kids so I don't have that much free time to work on it. It's a part time project.

  • this will be really cool with lights and bumpers.

  • It would, but when it comes to electronics I'm a total NOOB. Besides, that sounds like just too much work.

  • なかなか面白い発想ですね。

  • This is amazing! I lost.

  • I have made a ramp and will add a wire track to it to bring the ball back to the left inlane(next to the flipper). When it is finished, I'll make another short video.

  • How did you maked the Flippers please reply

  • I cut the flippers out roughly with a table saw and smoothed out the curves with a belt sander. I drilled holes for the wooden dowel(which I connected to the rectangular wooden pieces under the playfield). I drilled, then screwed the dowels in place to hold the flippers securely. I used two small, blue K-Nex spacer pieces directly under the flippers so they wouldn't rub on the playfield. I put wide rubber bands around the edge of each flipper to give them more bounce.

  • Thnx

  • Real Nice I think its real fun with more then 1 ball

  • I'm also making a pinball machine and this really helped with the flippers and I am using the idea for the magnetic targets and the multiball holder. I suggest adding a ramp by the targets that curves down to lane by the flippers to add that extra kick, that is what I am doing. Along with some other additions from other pinball machines. thanx!!

    :-)

  • Sorry for the late reply. The reason I paid so much care when filming the workings of my machine is because I wished other people had shown the workings of their pinball machines on YouTube. That was the main reason for uploading the vids.

  • nice!

  • Dude, This was really helpful, because I'm making a pinball and I needed some advice with those flipper- thingies, so thanks! :)

  • No probs, that's the reason I made the vids in the first place - for guys who need a little help like you and me.

  • @mtallan where can i buy that kind of balls

  • @mtallan thanks for the flipper mechanics im makeing my pinball machine and i couldn't figure it out

  • cool
