3 greats, both Sting and Macho Man should be Hall of Fame bound by now. Savage died, but Sting still going strong at 52 years old and Vince McMahon need to get them there. As for Giant now known as Big Show, he will be there soon.
Is Dolph Ziggler a deserving Big Gold Belt winner over Sting, Savage, or Big Show combined? The Perfect One if you look back on the clock in 1998, he could Zig Zag them and win that belt without the logo on the top. The title was given to him after the spear from Edge was banned thanks to Vickie Guerrero!
@21richkid that lousy joke and cunt wrestler ziggler would get killed by Savage, Big Show, and Sting during this time in 98 so don't even compare to a disgrace and jobber like ziggler who won't never even been in a mid event matches in wcw during that time he doesn't cut in wwe right now at least the 3 of them won the belt cuz they have the abilities to win it and un like that jobber ziggler who is a disgrace to that belt cuz he was handed to it him cuz he can't win it
RIP Macho Man Randy Savage. The best wrestler in history of pro wrestling and the most popular ever. Great duo of Savage, Sting, and The Giant AKA Big Show.
this is what i hate a wwe fanboys comment on wcw stuff if you didnt watch at that time dont comment becouse you dont no the storyline and the angles and all the stuff now if you look at the week before this march 2 1998 there is a segment betwine savage and sting and you will sea why they teamed up for a couple of weeks at the time it was all buisness and savage betrayde sting at uncensored becouse he wanted a shot at the title at spring stampede now nash was still in the nwo b&w that time
@asko3100 I'm just curious about Savage. This is the second time I've heard him say a tag match "from hell". DId he just always say that instead of just saying tag match?
Ty to the one who added this vid.. but all respect to WWE for ownership of it. but Macho man n Sting here were on top of their game right now as well as the Giant(big show) .. It was a great time for WCW that yr n a few yrs prior to but it started to struggle in 99 in to the new millenium
you missed understood where i was getting at. Why would an "allied" sting join forces with his enemy just for his enemy to gain power to the NWO group which sting wants to get rid of... does not make sense. - BUT does make for good TV ;)
@PeoplesWar I dis-agree, the NWO has to split / break up some time. Just the booking of it did not make sense, i.e savage and nash fighting to then a month later? To be best friends. And sting to help savage get power of the NWO for which sting hates?... The wolfpac during the summer was entertaining though and made wcw alot of money
@McSomething15 look up the PPV he turned on Sting when all three of them were in the ring he clotheslined Sting and left the cage it was at the end of the match
I haven't actually seen the Hogan/Savage match from there in a very long time. Just Sting/Hall. Probably why I don't remember that. I've wondered for awhile now what actually lead to Savage getting that title shot against Sting, guess that was it.
I LOVE WCW AND THE NWO SO MUCH¡¡¡¡¡¡

So savage is trying to take over the NWO so sting is now his friend? was retarded stuff..
ToM2CoOL 2 years ago
As I understand it, the angle was there was a civil war going on in the NWO between Macho and Hogan.
Since macho was getting kicked out, he joined forces with Sting.

@PeoplesWar Disbanding, absolutely. Splitting it basically persisted a storyline that should've been wrapped up eventually.
And yes, the Wolfpac made WCW a lot of money, but even Sting said it probably helped sink WCW in the long run.

its funny how macho turned on sting at uncensored

I don't remember him doing anything against Sting at that PPV. Just his steel cage match with Hogan in the ME.
