This is a wonderful performance and I enjoyed it very much. It is a challenging piece to play because of those octave leaps, interlocking octaves and other double notes passages. Only a handful of the pianists of Liszt's day could play the Transcendental Etudes. However, you demonstated great artistry and professionalism of a very high order.
Wow, simply amazing; however watching Dr. Corley perform this very expressive musical composition. But I have to say listening to her perform up close and observing her body movements as she played notes that carry with them various moods and feelings that engaged me more so than in this video. She is very talented and I highly enjoyed having her as a guest speaker.
Wonderful playing by my old friend Maria! We have known each other since Aspen music school - back in another decade! I wish I could play something so difficult with so much musicality - as she does!
