    Ciao Amici!

As Bobby Griffiths Lover/Boyfriend when I was a young man, I've placed numerous posts here, over the past year! Lately, I have been receiving some rather indignant PMs charging that my post were somehow for personal gain!

  • @lifetimetv08

I would like to answer those charges and say unequivocally, I am out for "Personal" gain! If by sharing my relationship with Bobby from long ago, and contrasting those very different times, from the way things for queer(LBBT/gay) people are today, I am able to dissuade

just one young person , from harming themselves, then that would be my personal gain!

    Ciao Amici!

I've been rereading the original biography by the late Leroy Arrons, focusing on the chapter entitled, "The Leper". Not wishing to sound selfish, I was gladdened to

read where Bobby had said that I had been "good" to him! Though it is painful to read further the depth of self loathing that sweet Bobby was burdened with. I was a teenager myself at the time and was undergoing the angst that all teens face, with of coarse, the added burden of being gay!

  • @Kankurofa wow you never had to learn about love did you?? If you did you would see how beautiful this movie is to teens and people just having a hard time with being who they are.. I give you a hug tho I am not going to show hate like you do.. Love is never wrong it is just that love.. Mary Griffith became a wonderful woman and learned just what love should mean.. It is just sad it took her son's death to see that.. I hope it dose not take you some one you care about to die before you change.

  • i remember watching a lifetime movie a long time ago about a son who killed himself with a gun when his family was out to church

    does anyone know the title?

  • well, you just saw the whole movie with this trailer.

  • She killed her own son, and yet was able to make the change into a loving and enlightened human being.

    A bittersweet, yet uplifting story.

  • this is so sad she shouldve axepted him as he was but on the bright side that lady said HOW COULD BOBBY FORGIVE ME

  • Your a horriable person!

  • wow, people like you are so closed minded.

  • Attention whore.

  • It is not a joke....how do you know what it feels like to be gay....People are just people, don't judge them because they are gay...be respectful to others.

  • If u r killed by a car, I will add my feet to step on your head heavily over and over....then I will laugh loudly at your corpse!~!!

  • I think this is one of those movie that everybody should see. it teaches you respect and makes you mature.

I really would like this movie to be on Italian TV as well.

  • EMMY please !!!!! make the right choice!!! Sigourney will win !

  • What a beautiful movie! Unfortunately this film was made only for TV. I think it deserved international/theatrical fame.

Sigourney Weaver was wonderful here. Her acting was brilliant.

  • im in the uk and i saw this today on you tube. It was amazing. I hope they show it on tv over here. Its something my parents need to see.

  • omg. i couldnt stop cryin when i watched this!! its sooooooooooooo horriblee:(

  • Great video with a positive message!

  • this was such an amazing movie. im bi and my mom would act the same way as bobby's mother did at 1st. no one should be afraid to be who they are. and as for parents you should love your kids no matter what gender they are attracted to.

  • grrr, this was a really good movie and I was gonna watch it again but it looks like it was pulled off YT.

  • anyone that hates without reason is a sad person to look at, i actually feel bad for you even after you told me to go kill myself. i hope you find peace

  • you are an amazing person...

  • i hope that this movie taught haters something, and should start acepting,i accept gays for who they are,if i have kids someday and they are homosexual ill accept them no matter what

  • how sad your life must be.

  • I just watched the movie and I can't stop crying. I've known many Bobbys. I could have been one myself. I hope this film will help open the hearts and minds of parents, brothers, sisters and friends. Just a beautiful film. I pray it can help end some of the suffering.

  • I actually can't believe you wrote that comment, when this film is about the ignorance and intolerance that led to someone taking their own life!

  • I could not stop crying at the end when bobby's mom walk up to that boy and huge him he looked just like bobby

  • do you know the name of the actor who played the boy at the end? does anyone on here know?

  • Oh God I could not stop crying during this movie! just watching this preview is getting me tearing up again. Does anyone know what song that is in the main preview? It sounds like Sarah McLaughlin but I am not sure.

  • The song of the trailer is one of The Island's Soundtrack, from Steve Jablonsky named My Name Is Lincoln

  • Hijodetodatu just wants attention... why watch the movie, why waste your time clicking on here and writing a comment... It's sad that you want all gays to kill themselves... I hope those in your family that are gay won't...

  • Many studies also point out that the most homophobic among us tend to have questions and fears surrounding their own sexuality. It's really a shame.

  • I could not stop crying at the end when bobby's mom walk up to that boy and huge him he looked just like bobby

  • idk guys. i cried already watching this preview. idk how im ganna hold on ...watching this tomorrow on lifetime.

thanks a billion for uploading. this is what most gay guys have to go through in our world. My mom nearly threw me out of the house too last month and i just turned 16 :(

  • sending you *e-hugs*

  • Whatever you do know that you are not alone. If your parents can't accept you I will love you for them.

I'm 21 and I'm lucky enough to have understanding parents. But don't you loose hope. Things will get better.

  • At last! Thank you so much for loading the preview on for people outside of the USA!!!
