Excelente, este fue uno de los grandes temas que lo conoci en el famosos programa "Disco Club" aqui en Peru, de la mano del gran Maestro Gerardo Manuel.
Add Rise and Highway 101, Aranjuez, Beyond plus Jump Street and maybe not having Chick Corea or Miles Davis on your iPod simply wouldn't matter at all. Herb went from pop to electric funk-jazz and it was natural to him...Harry James would be so proud of what he did for the trumpet!
thanks so much for posting! love this great song! in the 6th grade when this came out. heart broken first time during this period but that girl and of course this song and other music from this era bring a smile to my face! fyi- this song hit the top 40 on 12-22-79 and stayed in top 40 for 6 weeks and reached it's highest point at 30.
I used to copy American Top 40 with Casey Kasem for the Billboard charts religiously each week but that was long gone and I'd forgotten all that info. Thanks and don't forget to keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars!
Herb is STILL the GREATEST.. What a man !!! Just think a $200.00 dollar investment into what became a multi billion dollar independent record label A&M. I had the pleasure of meeting him in 1979 @ Peaches records and tapes in Atlanta.. What a thrill.
I remember "Peaches Records" that was the best record store, HUGE!! Would I love to have all of those giant lp posters they had all around the store!! We are older, wiser & have more money now at want our "PEACHES" back!! CDs suck!! Vinyl Rules!! I STILL HAVE MY "PEACHES" CARRYING RECORD SACK.
stupendo..........

Excelente, este fue uno de los grandes temas que lo conoci en el famosos programa "Disco Club" aqui en Peru, de la mano del gran Maestro Gerardo Manuel.
Gracias por ponerlo en la red.
