It's definitely worth having more than 1 deck of cards, right? Like a normal deck, maybe a Svengali deck and then two other duplicate decks to do the fixed stuff? Like when you double-sided sticky tape two together and whatnot? Just a thought. 1 deck doesn't seem enough.

I have big hands and find a lot of this kind of stuff really hard. I managed to do my own version of this which is nearly the same but I have to use my thumb instead on my index finger and the penulitmate stage of it.

Don't worry! Your hands will grow in time. I used to have small hands, and I couldn't do the Charlier Cut, or the snap change(which drove me crazy!!), but through practice you will be able to do it somehow. I practiced the snap change for two months before I could get it because my hands were so small. Good luck!!

I can do this now! It's just that I do it slightly differently. Maybe this will work out for others too.

My thumb is not long enough (or my hands just aren't big enough) to grab the bottom part of the deck like mismag822 does for the first time at 0:31.

As a solution I now grab the upper part of the deck (as mismag does at 0:21) with my index- and middlefinger. It takes some practice in the beginning, but you can put your thumb in between the cards later, to prevent you lose the break at 0:31.

If ur having trouble from 0:30 - 0:40 then try moving ur middle finger to the right if ur (if ur right handed) or to the left (if ur left handed) cuz if u move it in too much ur ring finger wont be able to grab that part of the deck

Rather than reaching all the way in with your thumb to get the middle part out, you can just swing it out from the top. It looks just fine and it's a lot easier.
