  • ermmm... its just overspin dude... put a stronger spring in it or downgrade the motor to lower speed

  • You need an active braking mosfet because you motor is cycling too fast to stop when the current is cut off. You can use a lower voltage/C rating battery and that will also fix it.

  • your motor is over turning. get a mosfet on it, mine was doing the same thing, fixed it right up.

  • hi 100/200 gear set and g&p m120 motor will make your gun shoot 2 times on semi

  • triggger contacts

  • @darkdante786 check your cutoff lever, its the bar thing that is help to the shell by a screw, chances are thats worn down or not in place right.

  • sounds like you have a trigger contact thats about to break, thats all i can tell you

  • Problem from

    anti reverse

    Cut Off

    contact

  • try harder spring...

  • Jeez all these people leaving comments are stupid...Alright man its called overspin...it happens when you have a higher speed gun like you have. Its just when you release the trigger the motor keeps spinning causing a second shot...an Active Breaking MOSFET will fix this

  • try your trigger contacts, they may have arched badly if you did not reinforce them before upgrading your gear box, I'm saying this because your gearbox looks modified

  • oh cool, now u have a 2 round burst gun! lol no but doesnt that just mean that u have too high voltage battery?

  • thats why people go for the better quality G&G's KWA's and TM's

systema is Waay too expensive for a low quality gun.

you'll get a good rep, but the cost is jsut too much

  • YOU NEED A MOSFET

  • That is overspin, easy fix. Just get a active braking mosfet and the problem is gone.

  • did you check the number of teeth on the piston? take it apart and do another vid.

  • that has absolutely no effect. its a mechanical semi, it has nothing to do with timing.

  • could it be the cut off lever not working? if that's not working, your sector gear can still spin and fire the aeg. also an ab mosfet would prevent overspin of the gears...

  • i have tried 3 non reverse latches and changed the spring several times

    Interesting

i tried to change the pistol grip on my dboy pdw from a short one to a large one, when i stuck on the large grip it gave the same problems, then when i changed the grip it stoped

So maybe it could be the grip, whats odd is that i did change the grip but for one thats exactly the same

  • And sometimes, Either do to the motor over turning them, or another mechanical issue, they are being turned an extra time (not a full turn) or they are being underturned (also not fully) If the gears were turning fully they would be releasing the piston at the end of the cycle. Which they are not. (sometimes) SO an issue could be too much power to the motor, or too little. It could be skipping a tooth (due to the heavier spring) or miss timed, which would cause an irregular incomplete cycle.

  • Ok thats for that i will open it up tommrow replace the spring to a weaker one, and re do the gearbox

  • dissassembled the gearbox and reassembled it. You need to put the stock spring back in the gearbox and rebuild it back to its origional working state. If it works flawless then we know it is the spring and not an error of the reassembly. If it dosent work then something is off during reassembly. (although there is a 50% chance it was because of the reassembly and the time you go to test it you just reassemble it correctly by chance.) Either way, what is happening is the gears are turning.

  • wow, I cant believe I missed this. I think I have found your problem. If you observe your video at :07 and again at :17 you can clearly see that the piston is "stuck" in the full back position. This is your issue. Ive seen this before, but it can be because a number of causes. What did you upgrade the spring to? This issue can be caused by gear timing, motor height, gear ratio, piston gears aswell as spring strength. The issue is almost all of these are in question due to the fact that you

  • Did you short Stroke your piston? If so by how many teeth? If you did I would only recommend removing two, once this is done make sure you adjust your AOE (Angle of Engagement). This can also be caused by over short stroking to many teeth.

  • For AOE Corrections please us this link. Google "geckoairsoft" " Angle of Engagement"

  • Also youtube "AEG Short-stroking help"

and last here is a sample of a over short stroke problem.

Youtube "ICS M4 with new mods" and you will see your same problem.

  • yeah i seen this video its good

  • no its not short stroked its brand new, nothing has been moded or changed

  • not short stroked

  • did you change the motor, one thing I found last night while working on my Airsoft gun, I found that the spring I was using did not have enough tension...

  • It is a bad tappet plate..... Check it, it is prob grooved all the hell.

  • over rotate. Have you done any upgrades or put in any new or replacement parts in the gearbox? Or is it completly stock and this just happened out of no where? If you have put in new or different parts from before this was happening, put the old stock parts back in ant start from square one. Change on part at a time and test the gearbox after every part. Its a pain but you will be able to localize the issue and figure out what part exactly is causing this. And dont get frustrated. Take a break!

  • completely stock worked then i changed the spring and it stoped working

  • The gears are either skipping a tooth or over winding causing that. Check and make sure your piston moves dully forward and backward with one full turn of the gear. It sounds and looks like it is jumping off a tooth, so as mentioned before a tooth may be chipped or ground down. Also make sure the timing is perfect and the gear ratio is good and compatable with the piston. If it is completly stock or everything else checks out then it is the anti-reversal latch not holding on and causing it to

  • Your piston may be mis-aligned. Make sure the piston is on the guide rails, as it can easily pop out of the rails without you knowing it when your putting the gearbox shell together. Also check the first tooth of the piston, if a corner is shaved off then it is definitely your piston mis-aligned.
