I do have a full turbo back invidia N1... great purchase, but couldn't afford a tune or AP after getting it. My next mod was either a SRI or BOV... I chose the BOV. Upon installing I stripped one of the bolts that mounts the TurboXS RFL to the adapter. So I cant take it back now, but let me tell you this!... My Subi runs like shit now! It hesitates on WOT pulls, I already lost power but now it jerks when driving uner hard acceleration. Perhaps a tune would fix this, there are better choices tho!
learn from me...take out the bov PLEASE...u lose so much power from having a bov put into place into a stock motor w. stock turbo and CAI. I had a CAI, HKS SSQV3 and exhaust in my 09 wrx, and i had nothing but slowness. I lost 1 full second down the 1/4 with the bov put in. You'll just lose pressure from having a bov installed. Now with the stock bov put back, im back to doing fine. Have fun with the wrx man. Good luck to u
do you need to still tune the car if the CAI is the only mod you have? ie no exhaust and just the air intake. will the car still be leaning out, or will there be no effect, just induction noise?
@DrewII Its weird on the subies cause there computers are very conservative. you could get the cai and be fine i know peeps that have done it but i personally would just tune it. you will get a lot more horse power and have piece of mind that your engines working correctly

If the maf tube is the same diameter as stock you dont NEED a tune, but you will definitely benifit from one.
