The awesome thing about good techno (and i love it to death) is that it is all about building the song, the listeners, and the emotion up to the climax instead of just starting the song there. Now this is no where near my fav techno song (or benassi my fav DJ) but think of techno and house like making love to a woman. You gotta get her excited and pleasured first. This would have to be my least favorite remix of this song. It just goes on for like 2 minutes before it even gets to the actual original. I mean, it's not a bad track but it is more like a totally seperate song with some of the original vocals dropped in as an afterthought.

I think with dance / trance / electronica the lead in is so that a DJ playing the song has time to properly mix between two tracks seamlessly, so in reality it probably wouldn't be played with the lead-in.
