I watched the fight several times. and found Pacquiao is the stronger puncher and the first one who always do the attack, i looked closely on Marquez face and there are bruises on cheekbones and eyebrows while Pacquiao's face is clean except for headbutt on eyebrow and busted lip. It is not appropriate for Marquez to say he is robbed. He failed to knock down Pacquiao during the 12 round fight, despite his "advantages". Neither Pacquiao was able to knocked down Marquez, perhaps because Pacquiao was cautious of Marquez counter attack, innocently Pacquiao not realizing this counter attack chance is enhanced by Marquez foot stepping "tactics". Because of this I feel Pacquiao is still the winner.
When nationality is involved, it is difficult to be objective. I am neither a Philippine nor a Mexican. For me, the winner should go to the one who deserve to win, be it Pacquiao or Marquez.
It amazing given the number of Marquez foot stepping that Pacquiao was able to block and evade, and survived 12 rounds without being knocked down by Marquez (I believe Marquez punches is just as fast as Pacquiao, and this is a credit to Marquez stamina at 38). Not only Pacquiao survived, but he also appeared to be the aggressor, whereas Marquez as the challenger is a defender. This is fine, and not a factor in deciding the winner, but less entertaining for me as a viewer.

When your foot is stepped, it is more difficult for you to step back in order to avoid your opponent's punches. A couple of times, Pacquiao was unable to avoid Marquez punches, when stepped. However, a few times, Pacquiao instead moved forward to attack, when stepped, and possibly surprised Marquez.
Subsequently, I saw this foot stepping video. If this is an instruction from Marquez trainer, or if he saw this accident but chose to ignore and did not instruct to discontinue such practice, it is a total disgrace. I believe Pacquiao also had some foot stepping, but not as many times as Marquez. You be the judge if the frequent foot stepping is a mere accident or is a well intended tactic. It is a shame the referee did not act on this, if he saw it.
When I watched this live fight, I was under the impression that Marquez won because he appeared to be landing more solid punches. I thought perhaps it is time for Marquez as a new winner to come.
When I saw replay, I note that Paquiao also landed short punches, but less evident due to shooting angle of cameramen, whereas Marquez with swings of long punches is more visible throughout the video. I had changed my impression at this stage.

I watched the fight several times. and found Pacquiao is the stronger puncher and the first one who always do the attack, i looked closely on Marquez face and there are bruises on cheekbones and eyebrows while Pacquiao's face is clean except for headbutt on eyebrow and busted lip. The Mexican people has been so disrespectful at Manny Pacquiao. They became so unruly in the MGM grand. They booed Pacquiao during interviews. They threw water bottles, soda cans, coins, crumpled papers, etc. They forgot the fact that Pacquiao is just a fighter, he is not the judge! Marquez deliberately stepped on Pacquiao's foot about 17 times during the fight, he threw low blows, head butts, and hit Pacquiao at the back of the head. Marquez is a sore loser, a cry baby, disrespectful,a big time cheater! I've watch the fight over and over again,no doubt Manny Pacquiao won! Although it is terribly horrifying to see Marquez's dirty tactics over and over again, it only shows that a cheater like Juan Manuel Marquez will never win against Manny Pacquiao!

It is not appropriate for Marquez to say he is robbed. He failed to knock down Pacquiao during the 12 round fight, despite his "advantages". Neither Pacquiao was able to knocked down Marquez, perhaps because Pacquiao was cautious of Marquez counter attack, innocently Pacquiao not realizing this counter attack chance is enhanced by Marquez foot stepping "tactics". Because of this I feel Pacquiao is still the winner.

It amazing given the number of Marquez foot stepping that Pacquiao was able to block and evade, and survived 12 rounds without being knocked down by Marquez (I believe Marquez punches is just as fast as Pacquiao, and this is a credit to Marquez stamina at 38). Not only Pacquiao survived, but he also appeared to be the aggressor, whereas Marquez as the challenger is a defender. This is fine, and not a factor in deciding the winner, but less entertaining for me as a viewer.

When your foot is stepped, it is more difficult for you to step back in order to avoid your opponent's punches. A couple of times, Pacquiao was unable to avoid Marquez punches, when stepped. However, a few times, Pacquiao instead moved forward to attack, when stepped, and possibly surprised Marquez.

Subsequently, I saw this foot stepping video. If this is an instruction from Marquez trainer, or if he saw this accident but chose to ignore and did not instruct to discontinue such practice, it is a total disgrace. I believe Pacquiao also had some foot stepping, but not as many times as Marquez. You be the judge if the frequent foot stepping is a mere accident or is a well intended tactic. It is a shame the referee did not act on this, if he saw it.

When I watched this live fight, I was under the impression that Marquez won because he appeared to be landing more solid punches. I thought perhaps it is time for Marquez as a new winner to come.
When I saw replay, I note that Paquiao also landed short punches, but less evident due to shooting angle of cameramen, whereas Marquez with swings of long punches is more visible throughout the video. I had changed my impression at this stage.

In this fight, Pacman was the Defender and JMM was the Challenger. JMM should have been more aggressive by stepping up and chasing Pacman around the ring.
Unfortunately, it was Pacman who was chasing him and he only traded blows with Pacman. He concentrated more on stepping on Pacman's shoes. Too bad his strategy didn't work well.
We didn't see any knockdowns so let's just accept the judges' decision.
