  • Marc Anthony the dog was framed. It was Claude the one that he accused of hurting and being mean to the adorable little kitten.

  • Best. Episode. Ever. :)

  • Just one of those days, I guess!

  • Man, how i wish they still showed these on regular, network TV on Saturday mornings instead of saturating the Saturday lineup with nothing but anime, anime, and even more anime. It's depressing, really.

  • Sorry mispelled his name8D;

  • Why is Clyde so mean to that adorable little kitten?

  • @Moonstone2732 Cause he's jealous?

  • I love the Matisse & Braque inspired background designs in these '50's Chuck Jones cartoons.

  • 4:52 he knew he wouldn't have much time he just got in as many hits as he could.

  • HILARIOUS ! And all that just to be TOP CAT !

  • 5:03 My favorite scene in any cartoon.

  • Why are pet owners in older cartoons always so cruel? There's pretty much every episode where Marc Anthony and Pussyfoot make appearances, many of the episodes Sylvester appears in (although that is mostly justified since he was trying to hurt Tweety), and almost all Tom from Tom and Jerry's owners are horrible to him, even when he hasn't done anything wrong.

  • @JadePhoenix45 oh god, dont ruin my cartoon

  • @gasper47 What? I'm just stating a fact. If you don't want to think about it that seriously, than don't. No need to take offense.

  • typo error. I mean he gave his owner. Claude was dazed and beaten by Marc Anthony

  • This is why you don't fuck with Marc Anthony.

  • What a abusive owner, he didn't even give a shit to the tiny kitten!

  • I recognize Claude the Cat from the old frisky & Claude toons they made ealrier, but the bulldog and little kitten's name I don't know their names.

  • @valnats Marc Anthony and Pussyfoot if i'm right.

  • 2:00 OH NO YOU JUST DIDN'T

  • OMG!!! I have been looking 4 this one for months, but I couldn't for the life of me think of it's name! Thank you so much for uploading this!!!!! AWESOME!!!! I really hated Claude!

  • 3:56...ROTFLMAO

  • Total power struggle between good and bad. Mark Anthony is my hero because, even though he gets his butt handed too him over and over, he persists and does not give up. He persists to the very end and gets the cat to sign a confessional! Now that a real man (dog)!

Everyday is a struggle like this for regular people and we could all learn a thing or two from good old' Mark Anthony, he's a true bad ass.

  • 4:54 LMAROTF!!!!!!

  • Marc Anthony wanted to kill Claude. In the original ending to this short, he really did murder Claude by forcing poison down his throat. Claude turned pale, threw up on the floor and died a violent death. This scene was at 5:46, but was nixed by the censors so it didn't make it to the final release. What we see instead is Claude being kicked out of the house & run over by a streetcar and Claude falling down, possibly to his death. Still an intensely violent scene but amusing nonetheless.

  • The 2 previous Marc Anthony cartoons featuring Pussyfoot were a little too nice and sentimental for Warner Brothers cartoons, but they sure made up for it in this one. Typical abusive beat-'em-up cartoon violence.

  • 1:06 Marc Anthony: But, but, but, but, but, but, but...(gestures at Claude, then at Pussyfoot, and kicks the air, but the man hits him again) Man: Don't give me that nonsense! Claude's a good cat. He wouldn't even hurt a fly! Fly: "Wouldn't even hurt a fly," he says. Hee-hee-hee-hee! 4:34 Man: NOW GO TO *SLEEP*! 5:22 Claude: OK! OK! I give up, you win. What do you want me to do? M.A.: Sign here. 5:47 Man: Marc Anthony was right all along! You were harassing Pussyfoot!
  • @5:47. Man: You don't deserve a home, Claude. Get out and Stay Out.

  • i love how his 1 foot comes up every time to scratch his head

  • Looney Tunes . . . no one does it better or ever !

  • meanie!!! Picking on poor Pussyfoot, well at least Marc Anthony is going to fix his little red wagon.

  • Ooh that claude!!!!

  • I love :58 where the guy is yelling at Marc Anthony to stop and he gives the cat an extra punch to the face.

  • i kept on laughing at 3:20

  • Cuantas veces te he dicho que no volvieras a molestar a ese gato?

  • the bit with the present had me in absolute stitches

  • Poor yellow cat but all is very funny

  • 3:20 always laugh at it xDDD

  • 0:50

    21 HIT COMBO!!!

  • @moonstone12s34yy Die 1 thousand death!!!

  • Man this is awesome! I was just telling my kids about this cartoon a few days ago. I love the part where the dogs throws Claude down! Thanks for posting.

  • CLASSIC!!!!!! don't make them like this anymore

  • Jennifer Lopez just dumped him

  • @kingman1245 l o l

  • daaawww!!! I love Marc Anthony and Pussyfoot! So cute! <3

  • I love how cheesy WB cartoons are. Seriously, You can't rope up a tail through a tiny mail slot. XD These cartoons crack me up.

  • 4:26 Dog Abuse!

  • That Fat Bull Dog Is Funny. I Just Love These Kind Of Funkey Cat Even Thoe They Get Beaten Up By Tuff Ones,I Also Like When Claude Cat Shows Pussyfoot To The Fat Dog & He Runs & Then Claude Cat Slams The Door On Him With Foot (Just Like Scratchhing Or Tickling His Head & Rubs The Pillow) I Like It When Claude Cat Made Sillyfaces At Marc 3 Things Form Marc He Pulled The Cat Againtst The Back of The Door & Kept On Beating Him & Got Kicked Out For That. (Including Sawing & Showing The Cat Snow.)

  • @Matthew2420 you don't need to capitalise every letter. psheeeee!

  • I always loved the Marc Anthony/Pussyfoot/Claude ensemble. Shame there weren't more of them.

  • @JanitorAntisocial Quality over quantity I guess.

  • The master is a 'moron.' I hate this cartoon.

  • @027220 The cartoon is great, but agreed that the master is a moron. He gets all up in arms about how Mark Anthony is supposedly treating Claude, but doesn't even bother to check where the kitten is. What an asshole.

  • @legion999 And that's one of the big reasons to hate it.

  • Originally released in February 1954. Robert C. Bruce is the voice of the "Frustrated Owner"; Mel Blanc, of course, provides all other voices.
