To be honest, I might have found it hard Myself not to erupt like several people in attendance did. While i generally would consider the "male" in particular to be rude and obnoxious, I really can't fault him for an emotional outburst clearly provoked by Joanna's stunning brilliance. In person I can only imagine how profoundly her presence must be. Enveloped with every last one of them. Which of You wouldn't be?

I think a concert is not listening to a CD (let's say Ys), comfortably sat in your Charles Eames, having a cup of a tea called "Yang Tse Kiang" and watching the rain fall through your window bay (which is just fine, by the way). I think if you can't bear people you should just go and peel off a random dude's skin with a brushmower. Another possibility is to show some altruism. This is a live show. Crowds happen. Bear with it.

Im all for shouting and screaming AFTER a performance, trust me, if I've liked it I'll scream my heart out.

Enjoying a performance is about lettin others enjoy it too, without any disturbance and most importantly: about RESPECT for the preformer.

Everyone loves showin how much they like s'thing but that's what the end bit is for. Imagine if everyone in the audience felt the need to shout in the middle of it

I have watched and listened to 4 -5 videos and I only have one question: who would like/love this kind of crap?

I think she is making a fool of herself. Her voice is not musical, interesting or unconventionally beautiful. Joanna should find some people to play harp for, and concentrate on writing and harp playing.

She is over-stepping her bounds. It makes her look foolish.

It's true.. she has a wonderfully orchestral mind, and I couldn't write music as good as she can if I spent 10 years honing my art. It's a shame people can't see past their distaste for her voice to the beauty of her compositions underneath. Not to mention her lyrics are some of the best poetry of modern times. You can analyze her music in the same way that literature teachers analyze stories.
