if im being honest this cup the maple treeway course with that cup and the lightning cup where the only ones i havent struggled with its the first ones that are killing me because of how long they are making it more item rape

It seems that if you maintain your lead in each of the four tracks in a cup, you will earn three stars. Also to mention, not hitting into walls, avoiding items lying on the track, and not falling off a track.

This is something Nintendo and the instruction manual never explains in how ranking is earned.

I'd tell you the trick to get easy AI, but GameFAQs didn't believe me about it and I think randoms on youtube would call me insane for it.

Then again, whatever, maybe I'm just still pissed at someone trying to use my OWN video to argue against me to claim the game doesn't have rubberband AI.

For some odd reason my last cup (special cup) I have to do on 150cc until I get mirror mode,like won't happen because I always win in 2nd place and never get mirror mode or daisy I'm so frustrated plz help me!!

This is ALWAYS the track that screws me over on Special Cup.

It's not the track itself either. I'm great at Rainbow Road - mirrored or not.

It's the CPU. And the fact it's the LAST track on the cup. Which means if you screw over on this track you have to do the cup all over again for the star rank if you didn't get it.

Grats on the 3 star. If by chance I ever got 3 star on this when I try again, I swear to god I'll go outside and kiss every person on the street.

ahhh, also like if pple try to unlock characters like baby luigi/funky kong, do they need to race with the regular ghost players, or can they jsut go to solo mode (w/o ghost players)and try beating there estimated time ?

Which ever you want. You just have to get a lower time than the unlock time for the Fast/Expert Ghost. I did them all solo, some people use the Normal Ghost as a (horrible) guideline and others may even download World Record ghosts on Wi-Fi to help them learn tricks for the tougher courses.
