Great guide ... thanks! The only worrying part was lifting the motherboard, mine flexed rather than lifted up, but everything still worked OK afterwards. A couple of hints from my experience with this ... when you refit the first bit of blue plastic, make sure it's all tucked nicely away under the front of the case. And if you don't remember where the case screws go back, the three short ones go at the top and sides, the two long ones go at the bottom of the iRiver (through the metal plate).

And I must say that unless you are experienced with electronics you should buy one of theirs. I had to modify their product with the wires from the original for it to work.
I definitely need to replace my battery and I'm planning to buy from infinity. I had a question about the thickness of the Extended vs the regular batteries. Is the extended any thicker than the "normal" one?
Great guide also. MUCH better than the ipods99 one, which sounds like Michael Jackson eating something too hot.
