Sounds like an idea boss. I was planning on getting a fender from a junkyard to practice on anyway because I want to get into painting. I might just give that a try, too.
My oppinion the paint is much easyer then the tape stuff. also get youself a peice of glass if you get a pin striping brush and a can of one shot paint and a razor..you just practice on the glass and when its dry you just scrape it off the glass.

You should do it the real way man who knows you might be good at it get yourself a pin striping brush some one shot and have at it on something.

I hear ya now, it sounds a little easier than tape. Plus the glass is reusable. Nice, I'll look into it.
