  • Yvonne the Cyberman still has more facial expressions than Kristen Stewart

  • I wish Yvonne came back after this

  • Am I the only one who thought this was hilarious when they saw it?

  • this bit made me cry so much:')

  • everyone's with the daleks, but the cybermen got one too!

''daleks have no form of elegance, this is obvious!''

  • Sorry :-( .

  • All that build up to Torchwood and what do we get? A warehouse! I would've loved to see more of Torchwood One and Yvonne, whats the point of all that build up just to destroy it in one episode. Man, Yvonne was so patriotic.

  • @AdensFlashToons You know we don't she her die at any point, Yvonne could still be out there...

  • if all the cybermen from the parallel universe went through into the void, what happened to the people who got upgraded from torchwood because they werent from the parallel universe?

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe in Torchwood she could have the role of K9 in SJA- Ally to the team that resides in the base and appears in episodes once in a while.

  • @androidsucks Ooooh I get it now... ow..

  • ahemhem. cyberWOMAN. lol

  • whos yvonne again i started whatching dr who serries 5 so i dont know a lot of the tennant era so who is she or was she anyways ?

  • I wanted to see Yvonne on the front lines of the battle of canary wharf, shooting down Daleks with that big gun

  • What an awful fate, to be turned into one of those things :'(

  • Kicking arse under One Canada Square. Can you imagine the Cybermen at Canary Wharf station?

'Ladies and gentlemen, the Jubilee Line has been closed. We apologise for the inconvenience.'

    'THIS-AL-WAYS-BLOOD-Y-HA-PPENS.'

  • @hotelmario510 Lol, that happened to us too, one time when we were in London for the holidays. But it was the Piccadilly line i think ?

  • @00420433 Our transport system goes down so often I honestly couldn't tell you.

  • @hotelmario510 Well, i wasn't asking actually. But thanks for commenting anyway.

  • @00420433 No problem, LOL.

  • @hotelmario510 I'm wondering, why does she still have emotions and able to cry. I mean, why whould a cyberman be able to cry?

  • @00420433 It was symbolic. She went into the operating room with such fear and sadness as well as bravery that this emotion was preserved forever in her brain.

  • @hotelmario510 But she can't be the only one right? There must be an army out there.

Well, it's cool anyhow, to have moments like these.

  • @00420433 She went beyond the barriers of logic for it. Her patriotism was so strong it was preserved in her forever, while for most Cybermen it would cause their heads to explode.

  • @00420433 the real question is how does a cybeman cry?

  • @yessthisisthebest I know right!!! It doesn't make sense!!! Does not compute!!! Dpes not compute!!! DOES NOT COMPUTE!!! BLAM!

  • @00420433 lol also if cybermen have no emotions why do they fear the doctor? fear is a emotion

  • @yessthisisthebest Wait, who said they 'fear,, the doctor. I thing they just program themselves to terminate the doctor in the most logical and recourceful way possibe

  • @00420433

well where they hear the doctor name they tend to back off a bit as if they're scared

  • @yessthisisthebest Huh, never noticed that, like what episode!

  • @00420433 i think that it was one of the older cyberman from the 1970s or when ever. and pluss they have haterid for all no cyber things and further more, they have humor. if you watch the episode, when the cyberman talks to the darleks the cyberleader says "you would destroy the cybermen with 4 darleks?"

  • @yessthisisthebest Don't undersetimate the power of the darleks!

  • @00420433 hahahahahah yes they are powerful to take out 1000s of cybermen

  • @yessthisisthebest But with the help of the genisis ark, and even then the battle between the Daleks ( not darleks btw) and the Cyberman was inconlusive. I personally think the new cybeman look coller than the daleks from that episode.

  • @00420433 not coller but cooler btw

  • @yessthisisthebest It could be that some sort of fear remains from once bieing human

  • @yessthisisthebest A healthy threat assessment based on logic doesn't imply fear, it may be a rational response to a threat. Not touching a hot stove doesn't imply you fear a hot stove, but is an exercise in common sense. The Doctor's presence may simply warrant hesitation as a tactical response.

  • what is the meaning of THIS?

    YOU SHALL NOT PASSS!

  • modern version of gandalf

  • I've got to say, she was pretty bad ass. Taking control of the Cybermen body AND overriding the emotion inhibitor threw sheer WILL and DETERMINATION alone. You madam, get a Gurren Lagaan award.

  • I DID MY DUTY FOR QUEEN AND COUNTRY!!!

  • @tzepesh20 Actually, Borg was based of the idea of Cybermen. In fact, Cybermen inspired many alien thingys.

  • @tzepesh20 if anything, Star Trek Ripped off Dr. Who. the original who was on before generation was even on.

  • Cybermen: What is the meaning of this?

Yvonne cyberwoman: You will not pass.

    Cybermen get OWNED.

  • @Thenextworldwar YOU SHALL NOT PASS! ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY WALK INTO TORCHWOOD!

  • she is pure awesome

  • lord of the rings? owo

  • this is one of the awsomest moments of Doctor Who, "You Will Not Pass!" *PZZZZZZ*

  • WOO she overcame her metal and got her emotions back!!!

  • @shoman11228 Sad. I always root for the cybermen. But then I'm just evil...Lol!

  • Bitch got a lazar

  • @Co0KiEs100 She was a bitch! It would be great if she came back tho! We could do with a bitch in the tardis, Stir things up a bit! ;)

  • This is so depressing. ;(

Yvonne was so brave, she WALKED into the saw KNOWING she was going to be turned into a de-emotionalised killing machine.

Not to mention she died hearing Jackie screaming: "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, YOU AND YOUR TORCHWOOD"

    Poor, poor Yvonne. :(

  • I-DID-MY-DUTY-FOR-QUEEN-AND-COUNTRY

    I-DID-MY-DUTY-FOR-QUEEN-AND-COUNTRY

Amazing scene, though I was told that she might have retained part of her personality due to the fact that torchwood members have some psi-training.

  • OWNAGE

  • Pour Yvonne : (

    This scene is very touching

  • For some reason when I watched this scene I cried for her and was heartbroken for her, and at the same time bonechillingly creeped out!

  • @CrazyGood88 same, i loved the scene with amy and the cyberman on the doctor who finale :D

  • @ntranced257 Have not seen it yet!!!!! SHHHHHHH!!!!! lol

  • @CrazyGood88 Oh sorry, and by the doctor who finale, i meant the pandorica opens :) just so u know.

  • @ntranced257 Thats what I mean! Don't tell me!!!!!!!!! lol!

  • @CrazyGood88 lol XD

  • go yvonne i did my duty for queen and country what mantra

  • Yvonne WOULD be awsome as a Cyberman in Torchwood BUT it was never explained wheter the parts used to create all the earth Cybermen were from earth or from the parallel dimension so we don't know if Yvonne was pulled through to the void. Also, it was apparent that he genuine strong feelings that she believed she was fighting for "Queen and Country" created some sort of override on the emotional inhibitor. But after there's nothing to fight. Who's to say she'll stay like that?

  • Love that cyberleader! Who doesn't like a cyb with black handlebars?

  • i dont know why

but i love this scene *w*

  • yeah, cyber yvonne was crying, she cried oil.

  • The Modern Gandalf

  • YOU WILL NOT PASS.

  • I wan't to k now the full things that happened to her...

I guess know all i can do now is wonder :(

  • she was obviously as the cybermen say ' reject stock!!' but didnt get incinertaed.

  • was Yvonne crying?

  • Yes

  • wait it cryied?

  • No,Oil. :)

  • @TheGrimHamster Some Cybermen can retain their humanity after Cyberisation.

  • It's Yvonne.

    Silly.

  • @JayRAWR1 No, she's shooting them with her happy gun.

  • yvonne the cyberman huh cool i suppose :)

  • I always love this scene in this episode. The fact that Yvonne the Cyberwoman shoots the hell out of the very same Cybermen that converted her, was a real kick in the arse for them and a really good foil to their plans.

  • She still has some of her own voice left so hah!

  • i liked Yvonne :( in the Torchwood novel Trace Memory it is on about Ianto working in Torchwood One and it says things about Yvonne :)

  • i dnt understand, the cybermen were fitted with emotional inhibiters to stop them feeling emotion but yvonne did. how is this so?

  • they still have their brains and this isn't really emotions, more her thinking. and she kept repeating "I did my duty..." before being turned into a cyberman.

  • Her emotional inhibitor could have been defective because they also take away your personality so if it wasn't defective she wouldn't have stopped them.

  • Maybe it has to do something with the mental training the Staff of Torchwood has to complete to avoid psy-attacks.

It is mentioned from Dr. Singh as Rose tries to convince him to believe she is a Member of Torchwood.

A defective Chip would not explain the her own voice in the Cyberman Voice.

Maybe (and this is a big maybe!) she saw how hopeless the situation is and tried to close up her mind. The Sentence she repeats ("I did my duty...) sounds like a mantra or self-hypnosis or something similar

  • I thought the emotion suppressing chip in a cyberman plus the numb mechanical body made the human brain inside "enjoy" cyberazation. "an immortal, painless and question free existence with everyone as one mind" I would think as the first person perspective of a cyberman....until the emotion chip broke, then it goes back to "OMG! I AM A TOASTERMAN! KILL ME PLEASE"

  • Yeah but Yvonne`s "Conversion" was rushed & as a result , her "Emotion-Inhibiting" Chip was slowly frying , driving her insane even by Cyberman Standards.

  • @butchdeadlift10 only the weak mind people will let there mind when they turn into cyberman

  • @jman19mwi hopefully the weak typists will be spared

  • Yvonne`s "Conversion" was rushed & as a result , her "Emotional Inhibitor" was slowly frying , driving her insane even by Cyberman Standards.

  • aww this is so sad, yvonne should of lived!

  • Yvonne WAS pulled into the void because the Cybermen brought the upgrading equipment and cyber parts from the parallel earth THROUGH the void. It was covered in voidstuff so it got sucked in. Poor Yvonne

  • Funny, I read somewhere that she was killed and her Cyberman body was found somewhere. So maybe she wasn't pulled into the void. She migh have had a merciful death.

  • no i don't think she was pulled into the void, because according to torchwood and the doctor who books the cybermen made on our world weren't covered in void stuff so they weren't sucked into the void, the cybermen made on "Pete's world" were.

  • i heard on a website don't know which that she was found on the stairs afterwards. whether this is official i don't know

  • weird

  • Poor Yvonne....

At least she died fighting in the name of queen and country and most important of all, humanity.

It'd be cool to have her in the Torchwood series even if her mind's trapped in the body of one of the cybermen.

  • I agree, when I heard that Torchwood was going to have a cyberman related episode last season I hoped that it would be centered around Yvonne. I was disappointed that her story ended in the clip above.

  • Exactly... and if it weren't for her, who knows what possibly could've happened?!

  • @girlgarde yea,a cybermen and the torchwood members.

  • No.

  • Why are you confiuesed, she turned on her fellow cybermen because her loyalty to torchwood and the UK was to great for the cybermen to wype out of her mind

  • Am I the only person who was totally confused by this scene?

  • No.

  • Yvonne sould be in Torchwood

  • Totally! There's not much Torchwood couldn't do with a mad British patriot Cyberman on the team. :D

  • He was saying she should be in the torchwood searies and she was good as leader of torchwood 1

  • yea they should have just put her on torchwood i mean if she was in it all the time i'd probably watch every episode cause captain jack is starting to freak me out

  • haha! tracy-ann cyberman!
