@69MrT I am thinking about ratcheting this up. I have sent the Minister of Health a request to explain to me why she has not included Alcohol and tobacco in CDSA a couple of weeks ago. I have heard nothing yet. I'm toying with the idea of resending the request, saying that I will hunger strike until at least I get an answer to this simple question. Istvan has inspired me to go without food today and maybe I can continue to make an effort on his behalf. I am incensed at this government, too
@chris31768 He died because he didn't want to be part of this idiocy anymore. He was a man of principle and he put his life on the line for them. Many people would not understand that because they have no principles
I haven't had any food today in tribute to this man. I am thinking about emulating his brave act of defiance. Not for the weed laws though. I would do it because this country treats me unequally oppressing me for my safe choices tho promised equality by law. All the while Harper and his cronies can swill alcohol, a deadly drug, or clerks at corner stores can sell the most addictive substance, tobacco, which kills half of the users yet there is no criminal penalty if they sell to minors
Somewhere on the face of this earth Jesus walks, he hears a martyrs calling. Don't give up the fight, Bud
