Michigan will lose 1 or 2 games before the matchup against OSU, and so will the Buckeyes. On the other hand this reminds me of 1997...following two seasons of sedated gridiron play Michigan is "climbing another mountain."
Me too. The only thing Saturday really proves is that when Michigan puts it all together, they are un-f'ing-stoppable (it probably also proves that fND is overrated, but that's another argument). They are quite capable of going into Columbus 10-0, but they're also quite capable of losing one or two games before that.
I will say this - I am heartened that Lloyd allowed Ron English to 'release the hounds,' and that bodes well for the defense all year long.
I want Michigan to go all the way, but I still have my doubts. ND was overrated. Not #2 material but Michigan did surprise me with the way they played. We'll see later in the season, it's still way to early to make Ohio State predictions. I pray that this is the year that Michigan will finally have a NC chance. Go Blue!
