I hope this song gets some support. It is put together very well and the message needs to be out there cause there are a lot of women dealing with this. It seems that we are quick to feed the poison of the abuse of women. Not only physically but mentally as well. Hip-hop use to be about sharing a message now all we do is party and b.s. I grew up getting beat until I was 16 yrs old. I watched my mother beaten almost to death as well. He was insane and would have killed her if she had left or so he made her believe. Please reach out if you are being abused. You don't deserve like they say, it is not your fault that they get angry. Seek professional help to get away and then get help for yourself and your children if you have them. You will all need help undoing the damage that has been done to you. I will be praying 4 all of u.

no problem, but with your sister, abuse is mental as well, don't upset about her "picking the guy" because in her mind he made her think that that was the only choice. mentally he has control of her and she will continue to be broken down until she can escape

im upset about the other stuff its a long story, he has a hold over her, he still does hes in jail (no surprise) and she still goes and sees him everyday,he tells her all this bullshit, shes still getting mentally abused by it and i cnt not care shes my sister,what hurts me more is she puts her daughter threw it whos 3 YO idno how it effected her :( he tried hitting her once and my sis still stuck around even though he threatened her daughter .. i dnt know what happend to her thank you anyway :)

my grant grandpa killed my great grandma she had 6kids and she was only 36 all them had 2 go stay wit they aunts and they all beat them badly
and sometimes put they hands on a hot stove my grandma's sis had it real bad
on one day they made her go 2 a store at 12am and she got gang raped they dad only did 6mos in jail cuz he was a phrear my family has been tho alot :(

All I could think was better me in jail, then my mother living in hell. I was plan on killing my dad, but thank God she took me and left him. I feel what you say like the fist stricken the door. It ruined my life, although my parents are now separated, we have suffered a huge range of problems, from multiple-personality disorder (me), ADD (my sister), depression (everyone), to PTSD (my mom), and more. My sister and I have overcome much of our problems with therapy and friends, but my mom is still suffering from near-incapatating levels of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. We can't live normally. STOP THE ABUSE.
