  • Very, very cool video!!

  • Nice job of catching the bridge opening. That bridge must be pretty old. Nice bridge whistle. That's if that's what I heard. Anyway, good one!

  • K929 Unit Fly ash train used to be a regular train. In fact those cars were ordered exclusively for this run between Texas and Central Florida. CSX usually maintained BNSF power for the run and only exchanged power once Florida Central came to get their cut which was dropped off in Taft. The sharp decline in construction has all but ceased this train as well as a lot of the business on the Florida Central.

  • Holy cow! 3 engines and 87 cars! I don't think I've ever seen a train carry anymore than 25 - Nice video :)

  • Where the hell have you been? Even european trains are over 25 cars

  • Yeah, this is a great spot to film trains. Watch out for the water moccasins and gators! Those wild critters are really crazy at Lake Monroe. BTW, every time my dad & I go to that location, the CSX crews will freak out and think we are spies from the CSX corporate office. Once the bridge operator ran all the way from the bridge to talk to us and was relieved to see that we were just fans lol!

  • Cool! I have seen BNSF/ATSF on CSX before.
