  • God bless the church.

    Your brother from Brasil.

  • awesome video, praise the Lord! I want more of Jesus! <3

  • Praise God, I was in a really bad space all day today, feeling very angry, so angry that when I picked up the bible I didn't find any comfort, then I was led to this video & it was just what I needed to hear!

  • Christianity is becoming a new creature 42:22-24

  • Paul Washer is awesome! <3

  • beautiful.

  • Amen

  • CLICK ON: disccentury, GOSPEL MUSIC, NEVER SEEN

  • where can i get this on MP3?

  • I appreciate what Paul Washer's saying. I believe the reason there is a weakness in christianity today is because of it being a body divided. There is power and strength in oneness. Be it a right cause or wrong cause. Look at christianity, miserably divided as a body. Yet the JW's or cults prevail because of their oneness. The enemy, satan, has succeeded in dividing the body of Christ, hence rendering it weak and ineffective.

  • THIS SERMON SO NEEDS TO BE HEARD IN EVERY SINGLE PROFESSING CHRISTIAN CHURCH!!! May it please Father to give His people ears to hear. amen.

  • This man preaches the true Gospel!!!!

  • holliness belongs to the lord and to partake we must submit wholly as apostle states"Christ in You" and I say...Let Him Dominate! In Revelations the elders in heaven throwed down thier crowns with words of honor to the Lord"Only Thou Art Holy".Let us reason together for without absolute submission to his spirit we are that empty vessel thats cracked holding no wine.Thank you Paul for the mind of the spirit sends" urgency" for the dark hour is now upon us" .That those few "awake" and have sight.

  • Anyone know where i can find session 1 and 3?

  • I really appreciate what's being said here by our brother Paul Washer, we need to be told the totality of the Gospel!

  • It was Billy Sunday who started sinner prayer and raise your hand if you want to recieve Jesus, it caught on from there on to today.

  • Who is this man???? This man is truly Teaching U the Truth!!!! GOD BLESS HIM!!!!!!!!

  • YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! AMEN AND AMEN!!! The Christians in this country need to be rebuked. It is a hard message, but much needed.

  • I was so convicted by the Spirit while I was listening to this message, oh my God I want righteousness, oh my God I want Jesus! "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." Matthew 5:6

  • @pheroes yes, convicted is the word..challenged..as we should be

  • Ouch ! from 22:40-23:10 Washer was probably calling out Josh McDowell. If believers preached the Gospel for WHAT IT IS we wouldn't be worried about how many are saved.

  • God did not die on the Cross though Christ was always God. Christ was sacrificed as a Man only. God cannot die or be separate and still be God in perpetual Virtue.Christ was always One in Spirit with God and died as a Man.The Virtue of Christ is the same as Father And Spirit He did not attain righteousness by living or dying.

  • come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord..

  • Hear the Word of the LORD spoken to this modern generation @ Youtube: TrumpetCallOfGod

    Follow Link!

  • wow this is amazing douctrine an we must not be just heaer of this but we must start putting it into practice. as it say in matt 7:21 "not everyone who say to me lord, lord, will enter the kingdom of hevean ,but he does the will of my father in hevean."

  • Paul Washer's definition of God being Holy is on point. I would strongly suggest those who want to know Him more and to press into Him to read R. C. Sproul's book on "God's Holiness".

We need to remember that salvation, regeneration is from God and God alone. John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.

NO ONE comes to Christ Jesus unless The Father draws him with His Holy Spirit.

  • This might be the best sermon I have ever heard.

  • COSIGN

  • I have sent you a reply that was too lengthy to post as a comment. If anyone else would like to read please send a message and I will send your way.

  • @vladimirsurguy

I wish I heard answer on the topic question "What is the Gospel?" from this video as much clear as Ap. Paul did in 1 Cor 15:1-4. "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins" But Washer.

  • @repentandtrustdotorg Please send me the message in response to the "why must people question other religions, leave them be like!" I would love to read it. I pray for Paul Washer, just learning about him within the last month. It is refreshing to see a man who is humble and teaches the WORD with such conviction, humility and boldness.

  • couldn't have said it better myself, i'm only watching this bullshit because i basically promised i would.. all i can say is that they're wrong, god is wrong..

  • bless you! I really did gain from listening to thiss. I was feeling bad because for many weeks I've missed chirch because of fencing and this week for I was sick, but now I feel better. ^-^ Prais God in the Highest!

  • dose anyone know if he belives in evolution?

  • Case for a Creator by Lee Stobel

  • //Case for a Creator//

Evem if there is a creator you can't prove it's the christian god. There are many other gods which could have created the world.

  • Then I must ask, do you believe in absolute truth or relative truth? Your answer to this question is imperative to your understanding of this topic.

  • Theres too many way to prove that our God , Jehovah did created this world . But you must first read the bible to understand

who is christian God . If you truly understand who He is ,then your question is answered.

  • @Awsomeguy134

your very words are evidence and confirmation of gods word the holy bible.god tells us of those words.

thank you. please consider seeking him

  • He can preech all he wants, but in the end he still can't prove chriianity

  • what proof do you require?

  • //what proof do you require? //

physical evedince not just that there is a god,but that it is the CHRISTIAN GOD. THe evedince has to be clear and objective. which means you can't just make a bunch of asomptions from the bible

  • what gives you the idea that the Bible is a bunch of assumptions? Have you done the research on the history of the texts?

  • Mr Washer has worked fulltime for 20 years as an evangelist. 20 years of biblestudy, reading good books (Spurgeon), seeing developements in the USA and Peru. And after 20 years in 2008 he is presented in the Netherlands PUBLICLY that he considers Billy Graham the kindest and most loving man, and Washer says openly that he KNOWS NOTHING about what the book of Revelation is about. Then he cannot possibly be blessed by God according to Revelation 1v3 !!!!

  • In 2008 the shocking youthmessage was translated into Dutch and spread amongst 2000 mostly Dutch ministers. In it Mr. Washer calls Mr. Graham the kindest and most loving man he knows, with a statement about what Graham said the fruit of his work was. If Mr. Washer protests so much against Mr. Graham why is he presented publicly in 2008 in the Netherlands with the statement he made about Graham in his shocking youthmessage of 2002 ?

  • great video! powerfull msg

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • Amen to this video. Share this with your churches, friends & Family! It needs to be shared!

  • dude, amen, amen.

  • Man... oh, man... I'm convicted, yet I still go to the pig stye. But more and more, I feel nautious going there, and God willing, I will live according to my new nature soon.

  • Start it ASAP.

  • Director's Account. However, I have heard that the newer Director's Accounts do not allow this anymore.

  • ohhh well yeah I guess, thanks anyway =P

  • Thanks be to God and the living word in flesh, Christ Jesus! (John 1:14)

  • Truth.

  • THis is an amazing video i forgot to add, i just watch the entire thing except for the last couple minutes, this is amazing, this is amazing

  • They'd have to proof that person has no access first. You can't assume it, you don't follow behind that person and his thoughts 24/7, therefore you don't know if they know God or not

  • amen, we do need more guys like paul washer!

  • repentandtrust, I quit Christian churches because of watery, worldly, garbage "gospel" in the churches. I have not been in a Christian church for over a year, and don't intend to go back. I wish we had more preachers like the guy in this video.

  • there are churches who do practices the truth, do not forsake the fellowsip with other believers. Brothers and sister need each other, to uplift, encourage, etc.

  • I really endured a lot of abuse, mistreatment, and garbage in those churches.

I was very sick for 18 years. It took that long to finally get an accurate disagnosis and find the right medication that would work. You would not believe how I was treated by the churches and Christians during those years.

I am fed up. I can't take any more of that.

  • I am a Messianic now, by the way. There is no Messianic congregation in my city. I have serious transportation issues, for getting there and back.

  • I would often be in my apartment very sick and with the room violently spinning, and the "Christians" and their churches refused to even lift a finger. And, I was sometimes accused of faking it to use people. The list goes on and on, and by MANY churches. I'm doing better now physically, but I refuse to have anything to do with those people, after getting such a demonstration of their version of "Christian love," or serious lack thereof. I have forgiven them, but I won't go back for more.

  • I fellowship online now, for the most part. If an online Christian acts like a creep, I just block him or her and go on to someone else. I have found out the hard way that acting like a creep is, unfortunately, typical Christian behavior, so I take it with a grain of salt. I am a Messianic now, and so I mostly fellowship with Messianics.

  • ...or...you might use your God-given reason. GodvstheBible d com

  • Thank you! Solid food, eat and serve the Lord!

  • I cried at the end. I love God.

  • I emailed Paul Washer regarding Romans 7:15-25, Washer's view on Paul as a pre Christian vs Christian, he falls on the side that Paul is pre Christian, in Romans 7:14-25. John Piper did a sermon on the "Divided Man" Romans 7:14-25, that fit nicely into my mind as a sinner, slowly being sanctified. Piper falls on this text as Paul the Christian. This blew me away cause I love this guy Paul Washer, a great brother and man of God!!! How do I reconcile this?

  • Romans 7 never mentions the Spirit, the struggle is between the flesh & the law (which is what you would expect if it was about a lost Pharisee under conviction). In Romans 7 the man is "of the flesh, sold under sin." He doesn't OCCASIONALLY do what he hates, he ALWAYS does what he hates, and NEVER does what he wants. That is the exact opposite of what we read of the Christian in Romans 6:17-18.

  • Paul (lost) delighted in the law in the same way the Pharisees did. This is what Paul talked about in Romans 2. He sums it up in Romans 2:23, "You who boast in the law dishonor God by breaking the law." The issue in Romans 7 is not the struggle of the Christian and sin, but of how the law relates to the lost man under conviction... if the law stirs up sin and produces death, how can it be good? That is the question Paul is answering.

  • Romans 6 - 7 is divided into Paul answering 4 Questions (6:1, 6:15, 7:7 and 7:13). Paul always gives the distorted view of his position 1st. Then he always follows that by a strong denial, "May it never be!" (ESV). Then he always follows that by a condensed short answer. Then he always follows that by a body of text that flushes out what his condensed short answer meant.

  • The question of 7:13 is, "Did that which is good, then, bring death to me?" Therefore, 7:14-25 is about the goodness of the law despite what it does to those in the flesh - so it is not some new section out of left field about the Christian battling sin.

  • very good video God bless you

  • God bless, and God will guide! Well done!

  • "...then why are there so few "true" converts as the preacher says?"

Pride...mankind does not like God's way we want to do it our way.

  • So, ummm, if Almighty God's plan is to transform people for his own glory, then why are there so few "true" converts as the preacher says? Is his plan flawed?

This sermon seems to be nothing more than a lot of personal denigration. I know you guys like this stuff, but you have to think for yourselves and analyze the Bible on your own. Don't just take his interpretation as truth, for he appeals to your emotions, not reason.

  • Mankind creates a God of their own liking, they create an idol, one of the oldest sins in the Bible. People want God, but they don`t want to change, they pick and choose parts of the Bible they like, and cast off the rest. We are flawed, not Gods word. People like to bring God down to their own level, instead of serving Him as He truly is, Holy and Righteous...Peace

  • Hey, Soul. Washer claims that the only thing that makes a convert is God's personal intervention. Then what is the point in him saying ANYTHING?

God just does it or not. Washer's teachings, preaching, talking, etc. won't make any difference - its up to God and God alone. Why even HAVE a sermon? God will transform those whom he will. Why talk about it? What's then wrong with having bad Christian teaching in America if not even right teachings will do the conversion, but GOD's choice alone?

  • Good preachers and teachers can bring us into a closer relationship with God, God has chosen them to be our spiritual leaders and advisers. Pastors like Paul can also help the lost in his preaching to bring about conviction in a man or woman who does not know God, God works through us, the working of the Holy Spirit works through Pastor Paul and the believer to reach the lost and impact the lives around us through the Holy Spirit of God...Peace

  • ok, you say "can bring us CLOSER to God". But all that really counts is that you are either with or without God. And this is up to God too. Closer and further is really sort of beside the point. Pastor like Paul "can help the lost". But he need not to, right? Or is he HELPING God? Does God need Paul's help? Does he transform a person by other means, those that do not require us hearing this message?

Or are Paul's words coming directly from God?

  • We are Ambassadors of Christ, we do His work willingly. God needs no one, but He bestows His grace upon us. We are servants and slaves to our Master and do the Fathers will because we love Him. Yes, I believe Pauls words come directly from God through the Holy Spirit....Peace

  • But am I right in understanding that all this is, while nice and all, is still extra and somewhat superfluous? I am sure its all done willingly and with gratitude toward the master, but in the end its the Master's work that counts. Right? I mean one could not hear a word of all this preaching and still be converted by God himself? That is to say, can nonbelievers be converted by other means, or do they HAVE to hear Paul Washer?

  • We can do nothing without the power of God backing us up, apart from God, we are nothing, we cannot do Gods work on our own power, we must be in tune with God at all times. The body of Christ is not an extra, we were created to have fellowship with God, until men repent and believe the Gospel, they will remain separated from God. We are commanded to spread the Gospel message, and that`s what we do. God does the conversions, not men, not Paul.

  • OK, iF God does the conversion, than what crucial work is there left for men?

Can god convert someone who has not heard the gospel? If hearing the gospel is so crucial, then why not restrict to sermons to simply reading the Gospels out loud?

Aren't most of people in his church already familiar with the Gospel? Why are sitting there listening to him? Isn't their cause better served by telling OTHERS about the Gospels? Is he not effectively preaching to the choir?

  • Also, how can there be a false Christianity then? Did I understand you that as long as you have heard the Gospel God either will or will not convert you. We have no choice other then believing the Gospels. Or are the mere words of the Gospels not sufficient? Must they also hear them properly explained by Paul?

  • You and I have already had this conversation my friend, I am not going to debate the word of God ok. Have a great day....Peace

  • As you wish, soul. Peace to you too.

  • You will recieve faith by hearing the word of God!

  • Regardless from whom you hear it? Washer or Graham? Do you know if faith can be received from the mere reading of the Bible? Can it be received without any reading or hearing the word of God? By someone who never heard or read the Gospels, but SOMEHOW came to believe because God transformed them all by himself? Is that possible? Just curious.

Btw, French Vanilla is my favorite kind of coffee :)

  • French Vanilla is great, especially the ice cream lol. I like the coffe too I guess.

Any how, I really wish I could show you the exact verse where it describes that through the word of God we recieve faith, but I can't remember it. That is why we have preachers, to show us the word of God, and to describe what it is and how we apply it to our lives, don't you agree?

  • ce cream works too :)

well, here is the rub: If Salvation comes through Faith only and Faith comes through hearing the word, then what happened to the countless people living in the New World that died prior to Columbus, who never got the chance to know the Gospel? Are they all in Hell? Was non of them "elected"?

  • But didn't they have to hear the word of God first in order to know God? You can't have faith unless you know the word of God, and what Jesus did. That is the word of God, and through it we recieve faith.

  • OK, fair enough. Then it means those who have not heard the message couldn't have been saved. That means no children that died before they could understand what sin and God are. And no people that lived in Latin America before Columbus. So God did not plan to save anyone from the New World for so long and anyone so young? I just find it strange that God would save only Europeans for such a long time - racism is not one of his qualities.

  • Did you forget that our Lord is a God of Mercy?

  • Of course I didn't. My point is that this READING of the Bible suggests that he is merciful toward some Europeans for 1500 years before he stars being merciful to ANY Native Americans, since the Gospel did not reach them for all this time. This is baffling, because Natives turned out receptive to the Gospel and are now, for instance, South America is heavily Christian.

This suggests to me that there is more to the story than Calvinism suggests.

  • I understand exactly what you are saying, but we can't really tell what God had in store for them. Most of South America is Catholic, mostly because of the Large influence in Spain and Portugal. Even still though, God has his reasons, we must trust in his reasoning and not our own. God be with you.

  • On a final note (and then I let you go :) ) may I just point out that (in my humble opinion) Calvinists are quick to point out that Salvation comes through Faith alone and Faith comes through the Word of God, but when it comes to some nonbelievers (say in South America) its "we can't really tell" and "must not trust our reasoning".

Btw, while most of them are Catholic and lost(?) Protestantism in Brazil is outpacing Catholicism. Anyhow, I leave you with that. Peace and long life.

  • Okay lol? Peace to you too. I'm going to Mexico today, btw lol

  • 2 Tim. 3:15

  • 2 Tim 3:16

  • This letter and passage is addressed to Timothy directely. Paul addresses the fact that TIMOTHY knew the scriptures from infancy - NOT that anyone knows them from infancy. Mayans in the 1200s did NOT know the Gospels from infancy. Gospels were written down so that people READ them or HEAR them. If that knowledge was innate there would be no need for the Bible.

I use caps for emphasis not raising tone of voice, btw.

In either case, no offense and peace to you all.

  • I'm new to this post but I'd like to answer your question, can it be received without any reading or hearing the word [the Bible, I gather, is what is meant here by the "word"] of God? Let me just say I don't mean to get heated, but the answer is staring everyone in the face if they would just understand the true gospel like Mr Washer is expositing. I will not apologize for speaking the truth I know, so here I go. This will take several posts, I'm sorry.

  • The word of God IS God (John 1:1) and it IS Jesus, it's not the Bible, and you don't need to know of what the Bible says to believe in Jesus and have eternal life, which Jesus says clearly here: You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

I do not receive glory from people. But I know that you do not have the love of God within you (John 5:39-42).

  • I'm not judging anyone's faith (I have had the same question asked and fumbled the response, I'm sad to say), I'm just repeating what Christ said to those who would deny that Jesus is the Son of God based on an incomplete or false reading of the scriptures, and those who would not repent and have faith because they object to what they don't understand, that God could save people without any effort to read or understand the Scriptures themselves.

  • The Bible as we know it in its entirety wasn't even written when the events that took place in it happened, and yet there were Jews and Gentiles that were saved by faith without having the Scriptures to read (Abraham, Cornelius in Acts 10, even the passage in Ezekiel this sermon is about states that it is GOD alone that regenerates a person, and God doesn't need words on paper or the language of Hebrews to convert a person, he's God).

  • If God chooses to save someone, he will save that person, and he is not held down by the inability of men to translate words on a page quickly and go out and preach the translated Bible. That's part of the what Paul Washer is saying here. Jesus is Lord of the Scriptures and the Universe and he saves those he wills to save, whether or not they have knowledge of scriptures. God is bigger than you and I could ever imagine.

  • I'm attempting to answer the question (in the affirmative), "Can God save those who have no access to ANY scriptures, no Bibles, or that can't understand them?" which is to say "those that don't have the "word of God" [meant in this case to mean "The Bible."] My answer starts with the post "The word of God IS God (John 1:1)..."

  • No. The Word of God is the Bible. The word "bible " comes from the Old French word "bibel" which means "word." The Word, or Bible, of God, is God. You're all mired in sophistry and false doctrine. Open your eyes, blind man. Not every Bible version is perfect, but the King James is the most authentic, and it's all anybody needs to be a sincere Christian on this Earth.

  • Andres, I'm confused, though. If the Word of God were the Bible, then how could Paul be saved without having the entire Bible in front of him? Also, if the Bible is the Word, how do people that can't afford a Bible or never have access to one (for example, in countries that prohibit them at the penalty of death or in unreached nations) be saved by this Word? If the Bible is the Word of God, then how do you explain John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us..."?

    Jesse

  • You are thinking in literal terms. A Bible is a bunch of paper with binding glue and ink and a cover. It is the SPIRIT of the Word, which is IN the Bible, which is important. The King James is not the most authentic, the Hebrew version is the most authentic. But in the end, what matters is that God speaks to you through that book. The Spirit of the Word was within Jesus, the Spirit of the Word is within every true Believer, and the Spirit of the Word is essentially the Holy Spirit.

  • I still don't understand. How can the "Spirit of the Word" be in the Bible when Jesus specifically says "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me" (John 5:39) and God says "I will put my Spirit within you" (Eze 36:27)? When it says "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us... full of grace and truth" (John 1:14) isn't it referring to Jesus Christ (see John 1:17, "grace and truth came through Jesus Christ")?

  • Omnipresence? You are looking into it too much.

  • Bible is an old Latin word not French. French is a Latin language though

  • There could never be enough preaching like this. YHWH send more ministers of the truth in Yeshua's name, amen.

  • America could use a thousand more Paul Washer's!

  • Yeah, we could. did you see the message he gave to the youth? Its like 58 min long, if you havent see it you should. Its powerful man.

  • Yeah,i saw it and that is where i first learned about him,it was just as you said, powerful!

  • It sure could Brother, you aint kidding either. God bless.
