Of course its different from Cannibal Corpse which is of course death metal.The two genres are spawned from different areas of metal. Power metal is based off of Speed metal and traditional heavy metal. Death metal is based off of thrash. True metal is a bunch of nonsense since the genre as a whole is so varied.
