One thing i find awesome is Mineo Maya the creator of this and pretty much the entire Patalliro universe (there are several different versians of the manga with saiyuki being one of them) is a man!
Awhh... so Banko only likes Genjou because he's the reincarnation of Roushi...? That's shallow affection, I thought he'd love Genjou because he's freaking adorable and sweet... :/ Even if Genjou's the reincarnation of Roushi, it doesn't mean that they're the same person, they're very different people...
