  • @cltcwarlord

Hi Mr Pimp of this Whore

    LoLz

  • not only that but also in the north, a solder was not only fighting the rebs, but if he knew what was really happening, he would be fighting to keep himself alive, against all odds, i believe somehow that is someones fault for not having a certain General killed or shot, in order to slow down the domino effect.

  • THERE WAS A LOT OF FIGHTING BETWEEN JUST ABOUT EVERYBODY FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT ON DOWN. IF THEY WOULD HAVE ATTACKED EARLY IN THE WAR- THE NORTH THEY PROBABLY WOULD HAVE HAD A BETTER CHANCE AT WINNING THE WAR. THEY COULDN'T STOP THE UNION NAVY.

  • @civilwarcow I thought you were too good to talk to me CivilWarCoward. Ya can't help but make your little gay wad comments to me but can't take it. Go back to suckin on your little baby binky Bitch.

  • CIVILWARCOWARD.... I would rather be Southern fried than Yankeedumb fried ANYTIME. WHORE!

  • @civilwarcow Hello again YankTard!

  • @civilwarcow Hello CivilWarCoward., Even Lincoln himself recogized the White Man was superior than the Black man. Down south, we don't cloak our Racisim in bullshit. Like ya'll Yankeedumbs do.

  • I'm sure Mr.Davis was a good man and thought what was good for his region but his morality was so wrong.....to buy and own other humans for forced labor.

  • @ziggycat999 i feel you on that one

  • Let me make this clear too you Unionist Bitches! Yankeedumb profited from the slave trade and Southerns profited from their slave labor! Two faces of the same crime. But, Yankeedumb always denys their participation. Emancipation is their "Get of Jail free" card. I'm not buying the bullshit!

  • The South did not profit one red cent on the slave trade. That is because there was no shipping business that was from the south prior to the Civil War. That is why the slave trade triangle of the U.S. was NY to Africa to Britain back to NY or NY to Africa to Charleston. That is why at the time of the Abolition of the slave trade in 1808 there were just as many slaves coming into NY harbor as there were into Charleston.

  • The American People.North and South went into the civil war as citizens of thier respective states,They came out SUBJECTS,What was they thus lost.have never got back

  • was his wife native american??

  • DEO VINDICE!

  • The Union should have strung him and the rest of the Reb Government up after the war.

  • But they knew better, because such an act would have lead to another war.

  • woohoo he is my great great great great grandfather

  • @amdsoccer94

    awesome!!

  • Jefferson Davis=TRAITOR. LIAR. SLAVE KEEPER. Yes, only a minority of southerners owned slaves- but EVERY major political figure of the confederacy was a SLAVE OWNER. Jeff Davis had MORE representation in congress than a northern white man because his representation included 3/5 of his black slaves. He had freedom of speech, freedom to vote, freedom to campaign- but when he lost the election, he decided to start killing people. He SHOULD have been hung from a sour apple tree.

  • so those who believe the television over the history books you do yourself and your kids a disservice. Dont teach yr kids the lies of the media,,,teach them the true history. The civil war and what lead up to it is a lesson the federal gov doesnt want you to learn,,,they want you to think the north winning was a positive thing,,it wasnt ,,,the federal gov ignoring the constitution is never a good thing

  • GOD BESS AMERICA TODAY AND FOREVER !!1

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA ,,,, HAPPY 235 YEARS OF FREEDOM!!

    RIGGY

  • @riggyqueen I have to disagree. It has been 80 years of freedom, and 155 years of oppression.

  • @TheBoberton Amen. Deo Vindice.

  • I've always found Varina Davis attractive. Don't know why. Something about her.

  • He was one intelligent man.Greatest leader of the Confederacy.RIP Jefferson Davis.

  • Hey I got great title. Jefferson Davis: From President to Prisoner

  • Davis said God delivered the Negro to "our hands" to enslave. Davis also said the South would invade the North, capture the blacks there and turn them into slaves, and make the entire US a slave nation. I suggest you read Davis real speeches -shit the south has hidden for 150 years

  • Actually the south detested states rights. Look at what they did in Kansas -- 10,343 people there against slavery, 136 for slavery. And the South sent thousands of thugs out there to kill, intimidate, terrorize the population. And it almost worked. The South was violently opposed to states right to decide AGAINST slavery

  • Lordy, sho nuff Jeff Davis gave people work,Those darkies had their cotton pick'en hands full. Good ol boy from old Mississippi. RIP

  • The south shall fall again and again

  • In "Civil War" September 2008, I read about the great Jefferson Davis. He was an honorable and decent man. Yet, I remember having an old jerk of a history teacher telling us he wore a woman's skirt trying to escape. This was told as fact. I read the article and it was all "untrue". This old teacher worked for LAUSD. los angeles county schools. a liberal idiot. In los angeles, Mr. Davis is not viewed well, but why put on more false stories? it just makes history all questionable.

  • 203 -- wrong. Davis did in fact wear a dress when he was captured. Not only did they get the dress and show it -- not only did the soldiers who caught him report that - -but his own WIFE wrote a letter, still available, where she tries to take the blame for the dress. She said she pleaded with him to put it on. She said that she told the soldiers Davis was her mother. All true. Davis was trying to escape -- so what if he wore a dress. Big deal. He did a lot worse than that.

  • informative

  • Davis and Lee both believed slavery would die out eventually, just like Lincoln. That wasn't the big idea.

  • ugh i have to a civil war project on him ;/

  • ~oXojazeyoXo~, why ~ugh~? It's an opportunity to learn how great a man he was.

  • @magictricks3 ya i know i just dont know what to say about him in my speech

  • @magictricks3 amen!

  • @magictricks3 Agreed

  • @oXojazeyoXo

if you can, get the america's "Civil War" article. they may have it somewhere in the local library or internet. The September 2008 issue. In my opinion, I would include the the "false" story made up by the northerners that Jefferson Davis wore a woman's skirt, when it was not true at all. It was reported as fact by the news and it was told as fact by people, when it wasn't true. It was a distortion of history. I already wrote about this below. Sorry. I couldn't resist it I guess.

  • @203207ab Sorry retard -- Jeff Davis story was absolutely true. His own wife's letter proves it. Have you read her letter? She tries to take the blame for it, saying she "pleaded with him to put it on". While she denies it was her dress, she says in effect, "well so what if it was, he did it because he loved the South" and she says SHE told the soldiers Davis was a woman -- her MOTHER. Her own letter says that. Go fucking read it/

  • @oXojazeyoXo just put up a bill board with JF getting kick by a gang of black guys and then scream america rules, works everytime!

  • This man was a great man. Im from Kentucky and he was to but that aint the main rason why I support him. The main reason was caus he believed in the confederate flag and I do to.

  • Jack - I've read all your responses. You have done your best to justify southern slaveholding victory for the sake of what you feel is a greater good of "states rights".

    1. You're a walking contradiction. If the state itself is depriving the citizens of their constitutional rights, then that state must be dealt with. They are not exempt.

    2. If it were whites that were deprived as blacks were, you would not speak this mumbo jumbo you have done.

    3. You complain today of events. Ironic.

  • @osirica And slavery is absolutely wrong. Do not jump to conclusions and put words in my mouth as every liberal before you has done. You democrats categorize and slur everyone else as well as candy coat your own shit. You guys spew irrelevant, pre-meditated garbage like the racism card or the greedy card or anything else that stirs up the media to make your opponents look bad and win a debate. The north should have resolved it diplomatically.

  • If you are going to debate with me. Be factual, do not insult me. Do not lie about those you do not know. Do not use slanderism to fuel your debates. Be intelligent and logical. Do not run purely off making others look bad so that you end up looking better in comparison. We are a democracy and I did not try to justify slavery. I But many died, needlessly for a cause that could have been peaceful.

  • And do you want to know why it wasn't peaceful? Because they ignored the foundations of the government. If they kept in mind the states rights. Every other debate and bill has been passed peacefully after the Civil War and before it. If they did not force it then and there it would have happened differently.

  • @jackdoldseven Thats right. Find it. Where does it say slavery is wrong.

  • The south was not full of a bunch of racist, uneducated, hick plantation owners like you all would like to be lead to believe. Southern white men are not evil still to this day nor were they ever. The confederate states decisions were decided with perfectly reasonable oposing opinions that got out of hand and clashed in conflict.

  • Even a couple times in early American history early states wanted the same thing and wanted a state powered government..that was the compromise..we will unite under this agreement. It was not about the slavery for the most part but more of a right all states felt they had from the beginning of the United States. Healthcare, Slavery, social programs. The states were agreed to be given rights to deny these kind of laws..but we forget our past..and what we were founded on.

  • Soon we will be more and more socialist..because we forget..we will become the very thing we won independance from, the very opposite philosophy we were founded on. State power means less and less every century...these days it's more of a tradition than a serious part of our American government. The Supreme Court, Senate, it will all end in time. Anything or anyone that tries to uphold the constition will slide out from office without his word being heard.

  • Our first president..... fuck lincoln and the aggression of the northern invaders... long live Dixie... that war aint over..

  • The South actually hated states rights -- the big reason they started Civil War was to force slavery into the new states AGAINST those states wishes NOT to have slavery.

If the South was for states rights, they would have welcomed those states deciding for themselves.

States rights was so much bullshit - the other excuse of course, was that GOD told them to have slavery. Notice how that bullshit was dropped long ago.

  • The states had too much rights, they were destroying the constitutional rights of the individual and they themselves were voting with more strength than their own numbers mandated. This imbalance was only accepted because of the anti-American non-constitional white supremacy mindset.

  • ~States" rights is a universally acknowledged check on the arbitrary powers of the central state. It is NOT just a doctrine unique to the American South.~ Thomas DiLorenzo

  • @magictricks3 And there was no check on the arbitrary powers of the states themselves. They enslaved their own people and persecuted them for the most ARBITRARY reasons... skin color... regional orientation. Hypocricy again!

  • @osirica even further, the southern states did not have the votes necessary to justify their voting power. SO that's an imbalance. They gained voting strength by the slaves themselves who had no ability to vote (yet another imbalance).

The checks and balances are not simply for the feds, they are for all parts of the gov't. The southern states had too much power in proportion to their names.

  • @magictricks3 And that check, if unbalanced in itself must be checked by the federal rights.

No state has the rights to take the sovereignty of the citizens away. Great job federal gov't for removing the states wrongs.

  • Navy demolished them! Good job Navy.

The funniest thing about Confederates is that they boo hoo about states rights? When the heck does a state have more rights than the people? When can you say "states" rights when half the people in the state are enslaved??? Who then has the rights? That's hypocricy to the core.

No state shall have any rights that are to be respected by the federal government when that state refuses suffrage of constituents based on arbitrary skin color or race.

  • ~osirica~, In the words of Thomas DiLorenzo:

~The loss of states' rights is important because it meant that the people, as citizens of their respective states would no longer be sovereign; the federal government would be. The federal government became the MASTER, rather than the SERVANT of the people~ ...

  • @magictricks3

YOu mean like how the states had become the master and made the people their slaves? Yes, it's something how your comments on the federal gov't seems to go beyond the fact that your precious states actually enslaved people.

  • @magictricks3 And as you can see, your states in the south had ALREAADY took the citizens their soverign rights. SO in effect the FEDERAL gov't had to take the MASTER (the slave state) and destroy it.

It doesn't matter if it's fed, state, local, whatever. If a gov't, or entity takes their rights, we are bound by duty to remove that gov't. And that's what the fed did.

  • @magictricks3 Oh bullshit! The sectional problem was caused by slavery, the "right" to enslave people. That is all the southern states cared about regarding "states rights." The southern states were absolutely against "states' rights" when it came to federal enforcement of the Fugitive Slave Act in the North.

  • @osirica Remember even northern freedman did not have rights...no federal rights no state rights...they couldn't work for same wages and instead were denied countless jobs in factories by north. Don't act as if it's something everyone but the south didn't realize..

  • @jackdoldseven

And find the constitutional amendment that supports this position

  • @osirica You're right bro. We don't have anything that supports state power. You know I can just tell you're a democrat. Piss off, internet revolutionaries are people without mouths. I'm not feeding into your after-work youtube paper articles. You make no difference.

  • @osirica The north were not slave states because in the north their was no established labor until after the civil war and free enterprise kicked in for the north and caused a mass depression during the industrial revolution. Slavery was bad, but the northern government was not the african-american's saviour.. Remember 100 years later it was the people without rights who protested this 100 year old union that "saved them" who stood up against the laws in the north and in the south.

  • @jackdoldseven It doesn't matter to the citizen whose sovereign rights are taken. If it was the North then the north was wrong. If the West, then the west was wrong.

Slavery was not just Bad, it was worse than any other complaint you have. Because every slave experienced every loss of sovereignty that you talk about. And those rights were taken on the STATE level.

And what happens 100 years later is irrelevant. Slavery was the worst of it all by far. Unconstutional, and just plain wrong.

  • @osirica And only 5% of white southerners owned slaves. And the Stars and Stripes had the slaves and slave trade.

  • @osirica you do realize that the civil war was not about slavery alone,,and the slavery issue was more complicated then we today can even imagine,,,you had an entire race of people forbidden fr education w no means of support. You had many states refusing to allow black folks to migrate into their states. They were considered private property which should have never been allowed to happen but it did and you cant ignore the illegality of the government stealing someones private property

  • @osirica I have to say that I agree with you.

  • @osirica By your logic none of the 13 colonies were entitled to any rights since they all had slavery in 1776. The states are sovereign entities and never surrendered their sovereignty to the federal government. In fact they specifically reserved all powers not delegated to the federal government as per the 10th Amendment. Oh at the time of the war, no states allowed half their population-ie women-to vote either. I guess they were all illegitimate on that basis huh?

  • @osirica States rights=10thammendment,when the people of a state elect members to represent them.. and those representatives vote to secede (which by admission of all of our founding fathers is every state's right) the USA is a voluntary union of states.. the states can leave at any time. The non cotton states left the union after the president of the united states then calls for 75,000 US Citizens to take up arms against their own countrymen (would u go to another state and kill for the govt?)

  • @osirica You are so silly. I think that you watch too many "Roots" movies instyead of taking the time to study history.

  • I have to laugh at the Union Bastardization of the Southern States. It's obvious the so called articles were from the carpetbagger and martial law times of the south.

  • Normally I would care less. Yet I feel I must defend Magictricks video. A Northerner speaking, I am in no way a southern apologist. For I pronounce that the south has nothing to apologize for. I shall not give a lengthy historical lecture, yet southerners, and northerners alike were both hoaxed into war. The sides primarily hoaxed from an economic standpoint. Slavery was a WMD, so to speak. Has slavery ever changed? Really?

  • @dustca100 Lets see, would you rather work 18 hours in a field, have your children taken from you by force, be raped by your owner, have your husband beaten in front of you, have yourself killed if you tried to read a book, be humiliated every day by people because of how you look, be lied to about your origins, be forced to learn a lie that you were "cursed from Cain", live in a filthy shack, be forced to eat literal garbage,

or pay a 33% tax rate and deal with fiscal problems in the gov't?

  • Lincoln killed the Southern God -- did you notice that? You don't worship that God anymore.

You know - the God Davis said gave the Negro to the white man to enslave -- that God.

You know -- the God Lee said intended slaves to be treated cruelly and painfully.

You know - the God the South said would make their victory certain.

You know -- the God these evil fucks made up to justify slave rape, selling children, whipping women, and stealing the lives of millions.

    Davis-Lee God .

  • ~We feel that our cause is just and holy; we protest solemnly in the face of mankind that we desire peace at any sacrifice save that of honour and independence; we ask no conquest, no aggrandizement, no concession of any kind from the States with which we were lately confederated; all we ask is to be let alone; that those who never held power over us shall not now attempt our subjugation by arms.~ Jefferson Davis (April 29, 1861)

  • Magic -- Davis also said God gave him the Negro race to enslave. Got that retard?

  • ~NavyBeer~ Pure YANKEE BS!

  • Magic sorry pal -- this all came from SOUTHERN sources Davis' own books, Lee's own letters, the South State's own official documents.

I bet you wish they didn't write stuff down right? Sucks when the truth comes out.

  • ~NavyBeer~, kindly don't refer to me as ~pal~! I am a FEMALE!

  • Magic-- HItler thought his cause was holy.

What was Davis cause? Slavery. God gave us the negro to enslave, he said. The South had to use violence to SPREAD slavery. They man was fucking nuts about not just having slaves - but spreading it to the West..

Left alone? Dumb fuck -- Davis war was about spreading slavery -- by force if necessary.

NO one was bothering the fuck from keeping his slaves. The problem was the SPREAD of slavery.

  • Davis could have been left alone dumb fuck - just not attack the 12 forts -- dont hang the 14 voters -- don't threaten the capital.

You fucks lost an election and then attacked 12 forts, hung 14 voters, and threatened the capital.

Do it again. If its legal -- do it again. And we will kick your ass again.

Got that retard? If attacking 12 forts, hanging 14 voters, and threatening the capital is legal when you lose an election -- DO IT AGAIN.

Do it again if its legal. Go for it.

  • Actually Lincoln bent over backwards NOT to start a war. Every president before LIncoln should have kicked the Nazi like occupation force out of the USA -- by that I mean the slave owning lunatics who had illegally and unconstitutionally and by violence taken over the South.

If you don't understand that slave owners were violent lunatics bent on illegal occupation and spread of slavery - you don't understand the antebellum South.

  • slavery WAS constitutional. If Lincoln had not have called for troops then NC VA and TENN would NEVER have seceeded. He didn't bend at all. Davis did not say liberty was the ability to own slaves. He said liberty did not come from a central government but from God.

  • Davis said liberty was defined as the ability to own slaves. That's how fucking insane he was. Liberty was the RIGHT to own slaves.

I tell you what, dumb fucks. I will give you a legal pad and a pen, and an hour. I will give you 1,000 dollars if you can write anything more insane than liberty is the right to own slaves.

Davis wasn't trying to write something insane dumb fucks -- he was defining liberty for himself - and the South. Davis said that was how the SOUTH defined liberty.

  • Davis conspired to overthrow the government with violence long before Ft Sumter.

Davis was meeting with traitors before Lincoln even got to DC, to plan the military take over. He had already promised his wife, at Christmas of 1860, that they would soon be enthroned in the White House by the military invasion Davis was already planning.

  • More words of Thomas DiLorenzo:

~Lincoln and the Republican Party did use the slavery issue brilliantly, however, to advance their REAL OBJECTIVE: ESTABLISHING A CONSOLIDATED FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND ESSENTIALLY DESTROYING STATE SOVEREIGNTY.~ T. DiLorenzo

  • Wrong dumb fuck -- LIncoln had said for years slave owners should be kicked to death.

The South was for totalitarian government dumb fuck. The South didn't allow free speech or free press. The South didnt even have real elections, dumb fuck.

    Learn real history

  • In the words of Thomas DiLorenzo: ~A crusade against slavery would have offered a compelling case for Lincoln's War, but he never made that the case. Until the day he died, he insisted that the war was being fought to deny Southerners the right of secession that virtually all the founding fathers believed was fundamental.~ T. DiLorenzo

  • @magictricks3: Actually the Founders wanted our Union to be "perpetual," & said so almost unanimously & on numerous occasions. They wrote the very word "perpetual" into the weaker Articles of Confederation. The present Constitution of The United States is "more perfect" & thus...mmm...more perpetual.

  • If the ~Yankee Perspective~ wasn't so way off, it might actually be mildly amusing ... emphasis on the word ~mildly~!

  • @magictricks3: Jeff Davis attempted to create something nearly unique in history. He didn't try to create a gov't devoted to some elevated ideal, like liberty or equality. He did not try to create a nation dedicated to protecting & preserving the history, language, culture & rights of a people; like was done w/ Israel or Ireland or Italy. He attempted create a nation dedicated to the perpetual subjugation of an entire people. & he gave credit to God for this UNIQUE idea. Thank God he failed.

  • you base your argument on the myth of "the morally superior yankee". Don't be an ignorant fool, this War was NOT primarily because of slavery, this war was incited by the North's economic oppression of the South. The South was not just sustaining the north, it was making making it thrive. 94% of southern WHITE men didn't even own slaves, they were fighting because they were being economically oppressed.

  • @hbrtmran: The Confederates themselves declared that the war was about slavery. They did it in a thousand ways. Just read Alexander Stephens inaugural address as Confederate Vice President to get the idea. Of course most whites did not own slaves, though in some state they did. This is hardly the only time in history when a privileged elite dictated politics for the majority. I base my argument on the myth that freedom is superior to slavery. You can argue agains that if you wish.

  • Slavery IS wrong, I understand that very clearly as I myself would be subjugated to bondage if it was still around. but we can NOT and we MUST NOT act upon the ideas that we can force morals upon a people. If we would have just let the south go, as was their right, their economy would have eventually collapsed by the 20th century. But no, instead lincoln chose to personally killed 630,000 young men.

  • @hbrtmran: It was the Confederate states which fired on the Federal property. They committed the 1st act of aggression. Ft. Sumter was the common property of the USA. The Confederates had no right to just take for themselves. No federal property was theirs to simply claim w/o compensation to the common gov't of all the states. The CSA intended all along to start a war. The claimed Federal Western territory also & would have warred over it as well.

  • may I remind you Lincoln himself said that he would restore the union with or without slavery, he just wanted the union restored PERIOD. that way they could continue sustaining the north. AND EVEN if it was all just about slavery, we should have still just let them go. the power of government comes from the consent of the governed. We used slavery and morals as an excuse to enforce and sustain our governance over a people who didn't want it.

  • @hbrtmran: He said he would restore the Unioin b/c the Union was ultimately the only thing that could end slavery. As for the consent of the governed, the governed voted for Lincoln. Plenty of people in the South wanted nothing to do w/ the Confederacy. Just ask the slaves about that one. In the Union, the slavery would have been on a course of ultimate extinction. The South was responsible for precipitating slavery's immediate violent end.

  • And of course you have accounts of SOME southerners not wanting to do with the confederacy, they are magnified in our New England dominated society. Listen, we do have freedoms in our society which would be the envy of most other societies in human history, but that does not mean we live in a free society necessarily. How many school children have been, are, and will be given the idea that Lincoln was more than a man but less than a God?

  • @hbrtmran: Really? Apart from one book, titled Lincoln Loyalists, (own it, very enlightening) Anti-confederate Southerners are hardly ever acknowledged. If any thing approaching a majority of Southerners were interrested in secession, Lincoln could not have defeated the South. All this has effaced under the regime Gone W/ The Wind romantic slop.

  • Lincoln killed state's rights, inflated D.C's power, and created a monopoly on government. you still have not answered many of my other points. you don't have to reply, we both know this. but just remember you can't unlearn this. Remember the winners write history. This makes it possible where a tyrant enforcing his rule over a people at the cost of so many is dubbed "saver of the union".

  • @hbrtmran: The winners do not "Write history," your nonsense is proof enough of that. I remember going through my high school library shelves & finding Davis' self serving history. We live a free society, anyone can write any kind of history they please. We even have accounts of slaves under the Confederacy. We have accounts of free blacks who were captured during the Gettysburg incursion into Penn. That is enought to know all that needs knowing about the lost cause.

  • @ VictorLepanto. The price we pay for free speech is having to hear nonesense or opinions that discomfort us. the price paid for nullification is having occasions where a certain group of people screw themselves over by practicing their right (if they still had it) to nullify federal laws they see unjust. Lincoln killed states rights, ADRESS THIS.

  • @hbrtmran: This right of "Nullification," where is it spelled out in an actual article of the Constitution? It is as fantastic as the more novel inventions of the modern Supreme Court of the U.S. In fact, the expeansive sense of itself that lies in the SOTUS today is very much modelled on the Taney court, w/ its Dredful Scott Decision. It the Confederacy which rode rough shod over other states rights when they violently seized federal property, which was the common property of all the states.

  • I'm taking AP US History this year and I live in a very liberal city (SF), i myself am aperson of color and I myself used to adore Lincoln as the savior of the union and emancipator of slaves. We supposedly live in a free society with free information not tainted by the winners or losers, but how many people (LIKE YOURSELF) assume that the civil war was primarily because of slavery?

  • @hbrtmran: Try right about the Maoist regime in China as you are about this "supposedly free society." See how far you'd get in the PRC. The fact you write such nonsense w/o the least qualm refutes your own words in the very act of speaking them.

  • How many people do not know about Lincoln's white supremacist views? how many people don't know about Lincoln's tyrannical measures of suppressing dissent within the north?

Is it not a possibility that maybe just maybe, Lincoln was a Tyrant? Maybe J..W.Boothe wasn't such a crazy bastard when he screamed "Sic Sempre Tyrannis" (thus always to tyrants)? open yourself tot the possibility.

  • @hbrtmran: Lincoln had no racial supremacist views. I can discuss his remarks in the Lincoln-Douglas debates if you have any real inclination to actually do so. I think every slave master was tyrant. Just read the Narrative of Frederick Douglas. The attempt at a Confederacy was a coup & an attack on all our Constitution & Founders stood for. It was betrayal of heritage, soul, & principle.

  • ~VictorLepanto~, Lincoln was personally against the institution of slavery, but he certainly did believe the white race to be the superior race, so how you can claim that he held no such views is a mystery to me.

  • @magictricks3: No, he did not. Whatever can be made or Lincoln's views it totallity. He believed that all human beings were born endowed w/ inalienable rights. They were all entitled to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness. Every man, whatever his natural gifts, is entitled to support himself & those he loves & to go & do as he pleases. Whatever flaws can be ascribed to his views, & campaign rhetoric in an election doesn't necessarily reflect personal views. He lightyears beyond Davis.

  • ~VictorLepanto~, Despite the fact that Lincoln was personally against the institution of slavery, he still believed the white race to be the superior race. Lincoln was a ~mere mortal~ who cost the lives of many in an unnecessary war.

  • @magictricks3: Jeff Davis bears the of their blood for he is the one who started the war. As for Lincoln, he believed that all men were created equal. He believe that slavery violated this sacred teaching of our Founders. There is no disputig this, he repeated his commitment to this essential truth continuously throughout his life. Davis sought to destroy this truth. His gov't was dedicated to undoing it. Alexander Stephens, Davis' vice president, said as much. The Confederacy was evil treason.

  • ~VictorLepanto~, Davis didn't start the war. Lincoln's goal was to centralize governmental power. Although he was personally against the institution of slavery, he would have kept it in place if it served his purpose of a ~Forced Union~. He was a tyrannical hypocrite who supported terrorists such as Sherman to do his evil bidding.

  • @magictricks3: Davis was conspiring to overthrow the gov't established by our Founders w/ violence. The war was begun w/ the unprovoked attack on Ft. Sumter. The Confederacy claimed territory of the U.S. as its own. They intended to fight the U.S. over those claims even if no war over Secession occured. The survival of the Confederacy depended on provoking a war w/ the U.S. So Davis saw it.

  • ~VictorLepanto~, The fact is that it was Lincoln who was bound and determined to start a war, and that war was not to end the the institution of slavery.

  • @magictricks3: The objective, demonstrable fact (as opposed to groundless unsupported opinion) is that the CSA started the war by firing on Ft. Sumter. Lincoln was right, the "Slave Power" was conspiring to detroy the gov't of our Founders & to start a war so as to gain territory to expand slavery. The CSA was claiming all South Western Territories including California so as to expand slavery to the Pacific Ocean. LIke Hitler @ Munich, any concessions would have precipitated further demands.

  • @VictorLepanto actually he did sorry it is sad but you must think lincoln lived in a time where people saw blacks as a lesser people america was divided by race religion and many other things and he quoted it so you know but anyway i supported what the csa fought for states rights

  • @Rustinwilson: Not he didn't. He believed that all men were created equal, w/ the same moral rights & liberties that attache to all humanity. He believed holding any human being as a chattel was barbarous affront to human dignity. He said so on many occasions, they are too numerous to list.

  • He advocated the conquest of Africa, deportation of all blacks, white superiority and secession.

And that was BEFORE he ran for office.

  • "...Lincoln's tyrannical measures of suppressing dissent within the north?"

Like deposing the entire State gov'ts?

  • tell me how many other western nations can you name that had to shed so much blood to rid of slavery? Britain, Spain, France, even the damn Dutch got rid of slavery without having to go through such blood shed. but no, we're fucking America, we have to be fucking special don't we?

Now thanks to Lincoln, more than ever I have someone telling me 3000 miles away how to live my life. save the union? please! Enforce the Union is more adequate.

  • Davis should properly be remembered as one of histories great fools. Like Neville Chamberlain, who called his excessive irrational fear of war the love of peace & by his obsessive indulgence of that fear brought about the greatest war in history. Or Gorgachev, who by his love of the even more wretched form of slavery called communism, helped bring about communism's demise by trying to preserve it. Davis insured slavery's swift extinction in America by seeking to make perpetual.

  • Victor - right, but more properly, but trying to force the spread of slavery.

The leaders of the Nazi like South were frantically, violently intent on spreading slavery.

Toombs said "Expand [ slavery] or perish" Official Southern declarations show the leaders saw the SPREAD of slavery as a life or death issue, literally.

Davis tried to violently force the spread of slavery, and ended up destroying the Southern Frankenstien.

  • @LiarBoortz: I was greatly disturbed to learn about the ANV invasion of Penn. On their way to Gettysburg, the CSA troops were apparently implimenting a policy of rounding up every free black they found & herding (note: herding) them off to the South to serve as slave labor for the cause. The details of this action read like something from an account of an einsatzgruppen operation. Entire town were threatened w/ arson if they didn't turn over their "niggers."

  • I find it amusing that the USA was formed with the principle that "all men are created equal" and yet, when Britain withdrew its forces and declared the USA a soverign country, slavery remained! Surely the first thing that should have been done with this principle in mind would have been to free the slaves? After all USA's talk about being equal and having no aristocracy as a large reason for their independance, the hated British actually freed their slaves well before USA (abolition act 1807)

  • Desert--, slavery was not a government program, until the South said God ordained it, and made it the foundation of their lunatic country.

In fact if Southern States had obeyed the constitution, slavery would have died like a sperm cell in on top of your tummy.

The South could only maintain slavery by extreme cruelty - denial of freedom of speech, press even control of religion.

The slave owners, dumb fuck, were an illegal occupyinig force, some what like the Taliban or Nazis.

  • Way too quiet round here ...

  • Maybe that's a good thing!

  • Picket dumb fuck -- history was written by victors my ass. You pussies have spent 150 years trying to cover up the Nazi like shit -- and the cowardice - of the South. Probably 90% of the books written about slavery and Civil War were written by Southern lunatics whose main goal was to cover up their shit.

Shit like over 3/4 of the Confederate soldiers deserting, shit like you fucks all claiming God told you to enslave blacks, shit like the FOUNDATION of Confederacy was slavery dumb fuck.

  • ~LiarBootz~, how many accounts do you have? Your ~dumb fuck~ reference gives you away every time! Actually, it's the North that tries to ~cover up~ ... The Truth Will Prevail!

  • Magic -- sorry moron. As more Davis speeches come out, as Lee's letters come out -- as Davis wife's letters come out, we see what real llunatics and cowards these Southern scum really were.

  • You are a babbling idiot

  • rrmfg dumb fuck -- when have you ever seen a book written by the South say that over 3/4 of your soldiers deserted?

You will never read that or many other basic truths from any book in the South.

When have you read that Davis claimed God delivered the negro to "our hands" to enslave? Or that Lee said slavery was a "spiritual liberty" and that God intended slavery to be painful and cruel to Negroes.

When did you hear that the SOUTHERN governments had very strong laws against free speech

  • i live in mississippi. i am for slavery and always will be. the south shouldve won, we had the best generals and evrything. the north come on our land and disgraced our heritage. i hate the north and all the fuckers that live there! praise jefferson davis!!! long live the south!! DEO VINDICE!

  • Fuck this guy why is this a tribute to him, this mother fucker commited treason. Whats there to be proud of from the confederacy they lost get over it. you dont see people in Germany saying the Reich Will rise again. Fuck the south.

  • ~jrodr167~ , he committed no such thing!

  • Wow, a racist and a homophobic closet case on a pro-Confederacy video. That's REALLY surprising!!! So much for that "heritage not hate" bullshit!!! LOL!!!

Seriously, do ANY of you assholes believe in the fundamental American notion that all men are created equal?

  • ~RonPaul~, the Yankees were and are the true racists! BTW, all ~men~ and all ~women~ are created equal ... HERITAGE NOT HATE!

  • Interesting that RonPaulHatesBlacks, 12FlyMe and BullshipDetector are the same idiot. lol

  • Guess where RonPaul moved to? TEXAS!!! lol

Here he runs his mouth about the South but moved down into the South. lol

  • Not really. Every single Yankee state voluntarily and peacefully ended slavery. Every single Southern state seceded and killed hundreds of thousands of Americans to try to preserve it until the end of time, then replaced it with 100 years of Jim Crow segregation (until Yankee guns ended that, too). No one in world history was as racist as the South, except perhaps the Nazis. The confederacy remains the first, last, and only nation in world history founded on racism.

  • @magictricks3 Funny -- Davis and Stephens said blacks were inferior.

Davis said GOD gave the negro to the white man to enslave.

Was Davis wrong or right dumb fuck?

Davis said the Confederacy was based on slavery. Founded on it. So was the Confederacy right or wrong dumb fuck?

  • Show Jeff Davis in his dress -- running like a pussy, leaving his own people in dire times, without any leadership.

Davis is perfect example of Southern cowardice and insanity. He was a slaver, he preached that slavery was a Divine Blessing -- the will of God. He said God delivered the negro to his hands for servitude.

He was a sociopath you dumb fuck.

And a coward on top. He ran away literally IN A DRESS hiding as a woman. And old decrepit lunatic that said God told him to enslave

  • ~BullshipD~, your endless Yankee propaganda is becoming a borefest!

  • @magictricks3 Sorry dumb ass -- these are all facts. Its a fact Davis ran away in a dress. It's a fact Davis said God delivered the Negro race to white men to enslave. It's a fact Davis ran away during the fall of Richmond, and many SOutherners called him a coward for it.

The more truth that comes out about pussy Davis - the more the shit Confederacy is exposed.

  • Magic

We arent talking about racism -- dumb fuck -- we are talking bout slavery. Got that retard? Selling children, whipping women, raping your slaves then selling your own children from those rapes as slaves.

Got that dumb fuck? That's what the Confederacy and South was all about.

Lincoln's supposed racism? Dumb fuck -- read his full speeches idiot.

You fucks are still afraid of LIncoln -- you fucks are still hiding behind earth works of stupidity and distortions.

  • You didn't know Davis ran from RIchmond -- leaving the Confederacy defenseless? Fuck yes --- Lee was surrendering, Davis was running, the population had no fucking clue what was going on.

Davis was caught in dress, with 30,000 in gold he took from the Confederate treasury. What a dream boat.

His own wife verified that he wore a dress -- but he said she had to plead with him to put it on.

Davis was a metaphor for the slave owners. Your fearless leader -- funny shit.

  • Davis is an ancestor of mine on my fathers side of the family. I thought that was rather interesting.

  • Darkk dumb fuck -- your ancestor Davis was a pusssy and lunaitc. His own generals called him a liar and coward.

Davis deserted his people in the hour of their greatest need -- running away in a dress. He said he judged liberty by the freedom to enslave blacks dumb fuck. He said God gave the negro to the white man to enslave.

He was a lunatic you dumb fuck -- and a coward. You dumb fucks have had to make this crazy fucking coward into a hero.

  • LIncoln didnt "admit" the EP was a war measure dumb fuck - he said it was a war measure -- and it was the one that kicked your dumb fucking asses.

    As he knew it would.

You dumb fucks could have freed the slaves -- and won the war. But you dumb fucks said GOD gave you slavery as a gift. Your fucking leaders were bragging that GOD ordained slavery and that you would teach the world to enslave blacks like GOD wanted.

SO dumb fuck -- LIncoln out smarted you, which wasn't too fucking hard.

  • ~SteamboatCamp~, Lincoln couldn't ~outsmart~ his way out of a paper bag!

  • He was smart enough to stomp the racist South into the ground, free your "property," end your beloved slavery, and get you to beg for mercy at Appomattox. If he was an idiot, just how stupid were the pathetic, racist South? LOL!!!
