Hay otra expresion que me encanta que es:

could "Que te hace llegar al colmo?" be translated as "what makes you tick?" like we use in english or is that too much of a stretch? I plan on becoming a translator in the future so I was just wondering.

Well I am no English expert... but isn't "What makes you tick?" more like "What makes you who you are?" At least in American English, "What makes you tick?" is something you might ask someone you want to explain their motives for their actions or something. I think maybe "What is your pet peeve?" might be a better translation.

Great Job on the word of the Day! One suggestion though at the beginning you always give an explanation of the use of the phrase and that's fine the first time you hear it, but when a person like me has to listen to it over and over again to learn the phrase, the first part is very annoying. suggestion just give the word the and omit the first part.

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess I was just trying to personalize the language and explain the reason I think the phrase is important as well as offer additional challenges (such as looking up something to connect with the phrase).

And I'm not sure if you're aware of this. But there is a way to click on the part of the video you want to watch.
