Way too fast seasons of love is slow and exagerated for a reason, you sound like your all trying to get it out as fast as you can. slow down and it will be perfect! However amazing other wise, voice wise!

@babiesbreath123 Sorry, but most songs seem to have a faster tempo on piano. Trust me, whenever I sang "Feed The Birds," it was so much faster on piano than in the movie. So... DON'T NAG! THEY DID AWESOME!

People keep saying that the pianist is bad. I don't think they understand, the music for Rent, is EXTREMELY hard! i just looked at my rent book, there is not one song in the key of C. Another show like that is west side story.

You're right. Seasons of Love isn't that hard, but the key signature is what gets you.

The pianist has the music, but their timing is slightly off on one part. I can't describe what it is with out being able to actually talk to you. And I only know to listen for it b/c I used to make the same mistake until someone pointed it out to me. It's a quick fix, you just have to hear it.

Other than that, my only criticism is just the tempo. Seasons of Love was just a bit too fast. But its not that big of a deal. Still sounds great.

My voice teacher put on a recital and at the end we all sang Seasons of Love, but she'd never seen RENT, so she didn't understand how emotional it was and made it a fast uptempo song, and cut off the male solo. It was really bad.

The choir uniforms we wear for every concert, and take them on tour with us depending on where we sing. (We had to wear them in Florida in the heat, but we didn't have to two years later when we went to Hawaii!) They're pretty much the worst things ever to wear, since they're polyester and extremely uncomfortable, but -they look nice.

That was amazing! When our choir did "Seasons Of Love" we sucked! Badly! A lot of people were off-key and our choir director gave us incorrect lyrics. Whenever we sang the word love we sounded like a bunch of wolves howling. But you guys were fantastic. There were a few rough spots but other than that it was a job well. done.

The voices are great, the blending is awesome. The chords were right. Just a question..why must you stand there like statues? This song is about love and joy. I mean, you could have at least clapped on "Its time now to sing out." The outfits dont help. Im sure you had no choice...We have to wear tuxedo shirts..it sucks. But loosen up for Gods sake! Well i dont know... i feel that this version is sped up and it needs to be slowed down. Also the part "in miles, in laughter in strife" is more as if it was blasted out rather than sang out. Dont push the voice out for dynamic effect. Next put the "t's" on the "abouts". They sound like how abou. The soloist was off pitch at one point ("thank god this...).

And yeah, we all noticed Rodney being off pitch at that moment he said "God", which was a bit strange for him since he has perfect pitch! But, I guess that doesn't neccesarily mean you'll stay on pitch every second. Oh, and I agree about the shoutiness of "in miles, in laughter"... I really wish we could have worked on that more!

Finale B might sound pretty, but it loses all its meaning and energy when it's out of the context of the show, and is performed by a bunch of people standing in place...
