1, the amount of death you're taking is painful to watch but also funny, so I dunno whether it's good or bad. :P

2, you could just upgrade the nights edge when you get the goblin and it'll be better again depending on what you get.... cause I actually kept my nights edge throughout my entire playing of terraria once I had it cause my upgrade was decent and was better than any of the normal hard-ore swords (never got up to getting excalibur though, never beat enough hardmode bosses...)

If you make a cave out of pearlstone, like the farm caves you had for herbs and mushrooms on your old map, will it act as a farm for crystal shards?

@fishworshipper srry didnt get to finish my comment, but they spawn more in hallow but still need to be in sky. To get them to spawn alot then just plant a hallowed seed on a sky island

Two suggestions:

1. Carry platforms and a piggy bank with you at all times to store money as needed as well as expand your inventory.

2. You should install another switch or two beneath your house for your draw bridge.

Two pointers:

- You haven't got the Goblin Tinkerer because you haven't had a goblin invasion, but to get one on your new world you have to smash a shadow orb

- If you don't want the hallow enemies in and around your house, blow a trench using bombs around and under your house, and bridge the trench with bricks. If you want to turn hallow into normal land, corrupt powder will make hallow normal before corrupting it.

What you want is a phasesaber. Any phaseblade + 80 crystal shards, and you have the muramasa of the hardmode. It has fast speed, lwo knockback, and similar damage as the nights edge. Its DPS cannot be beaten until you get excalibur.

You should craft the wings(30 Soul of Light, 25 Soul of Flight(from the wyverns) and 10 feathers).

They are like the Rocket Boots but more awesome and stack with other movement items(such as the Rocket Boots and the Shiny red Baloon) to increase flight time.

Zisteau, you know you can combine cloud in a bottle and red ballon into one item, rocket boots and hermes boots into one item, and cobalt shield and obsidian skull into one item. It would allow you to get more bonuses with your accessories bar. They're all crafted at the Tinker's workbench from the Goblin Tinkerer

zisteau buy a tinkerer's workshop from the goblin so that you can combine your rocket boots and hermes boots to make spectre boots which allows you to do both actions while only taking up one slot

hallowed seeds are not dropped from the hallowed, they're sold by dryad

with spelunker Adamantite is a purple while Copper is orange. also their textures are different. that might help you tell them apart.

when you have the time grab more music boxes and get all the songs.

concerning the hallow or corruption, if you dig a trench on either side of your base from surface to hell world you should be safe from the surface corruption/hallow. you are already protected from the left with the drop shaft.

and get that damn goblin invasion already, for upgraded trinkets :D

you should just prevent both corruption and hallow spreading there by making a three-block wide/high moat below and on both sides of your house, nothing can spread past that

@bfmcob if the corruption gets close enough the corruptors will spawn and everything they shoot turns to corruption which would be very annoying to deal with
