I grew up drumming to Nick's work in early Cradle, and that is where I developed my style. I drum a lot like Nick, his style is so unique and special, I feel very lucky to have been exposed primarily to his work when developing my own technique.

@Attuneawake78 I feel like he's being professional with his job while playing a tune from a band he admires with a drumming he enjoys playing. He doesn't seem likes he's being tortured, indeed. I'd say that i expected he would do it much richer with nicer & more creative fills & chops. That was all the same thing & his timing wasn't the best i've heard. I do love his drumming, but my point is most headbangers care a lot about metal and don't care about actual music, usually.

And exactly that is what a real musician should be like. You can have great technique, but the secret is to use it only when it's necessary, and when he likes to play stuff that requieres less technique and if he don't forget what this piece should sound like, like in this video, than i have to say his ambition is true and the song is well interpreted!
